I felt like I was watching a high school game this afternoon. First game of the season, and we can't pack the stadium. Sad. Those locals who went, or the one's who truly couldn't make it are okay. First game. :( The hurricane wasn't hitting Saturday.

if there was a hurricane going to hit your town the next day would you be sitting at the stadium or trying to get your family to safety??

It wasn't supposed to be hitting today dude. That wasn't the reason there were 10 rows completely empty in the upper corners. All I know is I waited 8 months for opening day, and I am pissed off by the Locals that can't even go to the Home Opener against the Titans none the less. Tickets aren't that expensive.

Umm.. What if they already had plans for Saturday? Some people have other things to do.. these were different circumstances.. I am sure that if a hurricane werent coming and it was played on Sunday the stadium would have been filled.. but they all would have left once they witnessed the putrid performance of Jay Fiedler.

Dude, give us a break. Some of us were without power for a week or more. Sheesh. Come take the boards off my house and get me ice and food for my family and I'll be sure to go.

I am sorry, it was wrong of me, I forgot about the Fans up North. I am talking about the people in Miami, I just assume there are 60 thousand people in all of Miami to go see a football game.

The upper corner is usually bare anyway. The top row ALL the time. Every other section was full. The corners were bare all game long. Hey, you have a lot of beach to see and all that tropical stuff, i guess some people care more about that then football.

The game was sold out.

Maybe you weren't inconvenienced by anything in the last couple of weeks. However, on Friday they had the storm coming right over my house.

For this weekend the safety of my family was more on my mind. As must have been with a bunch of others, as the game has been sold out for weeks.

It was a bit thin in the stands, and got thinner at the half. By the end of the third it was getting "ghost town". We left near the end of the game, shortly after the TD, that was enough for me. I knew Dumbstache did not have what it takes to lead a "comeback", so we hit the highway, as we planned to be upstate to avoid the rush. Now it appears that it was not neccesary to evacuate in the first place! :fire:

69k was announced sold...for SUNDAY. saturday, the game got moved, people had other **** to do, think before you post

I was at the game in section 430, and I'm from Northern Palm Beach County. When I left for the game on Saturday morning, I still didn't have power. There were about 300-400 thousand folks without power up here, windows boarded up, and people waiting in the FEMA line to get water, ice, and warm meals in a bag. Plus, the game was moved to Saturday. Gas was very scarce and I had a tough time making a decision to take the drive south knowing there might not be enough gas to last the rest of the weekend.

Perhaps these are some of the reasons there were orange seats?? OH... and the construction ramp on I-95 where I usually get on collapsed, and most of the traffic lights were not working.

It just might of been pretty tough to get down there under these circumstances. Not all Dolphin ticket holders are from Miami and Broward/Dade counties..

Yo, Maybe has to do with the fact that it was moved and everybody who has Sunday off of work doesn't have Saturday off, This sight have suck much damn negitivity, be fans and stop complaing about everything, I am probibly the biggest Phin fan here, and I understand whats goin on............

I'll tell you this.....the Pittsburgh game will have a die hard fan in attendance that will scream and yell and cheer on the team the equivalent of a few rows of fans.....I'll be driving down from Georgia for it!
