How many times has Saban dropped a pass he should catch?
How many times has Saban fumbled inside the 10? Inside the 20?
How many times has Saban over/underthown an open reciever?
How many times has Saban missed a block? How about a tackle?
How many times has Saban blown a coverage or missed and assignment on defense?

What exactly was Saban to do in his first off season? Brainwash Indy into trading Payton Manning and Marvin Harrison to the Fins for Sage Rosenfields and David Boston?

Trade Chambers to Pitt for Hines Ward?

How about Stockar McDougle (sp?) to KC for Willie Roaf?

Good coaches can't take a team that had the second worst record in the league to the Super Bowl in one year. Doesn't anyone see the improvement by this team? I'm not even a Fins fan and I've really enjoyed watching the Fins this year because thier games have been close and competitive. Last season I couldn't watch 15 minutes of a Dolfins game. Saban has this team playing hard and keeping it close, for the most part.

So bash Gus and bash Chambers. Bash the O-Line if you want. But from the outside looking in, I don't see any reason to bash Saban.

They aren't supposed to make sense. My point is that there wan't much that he could do with the team that he inherited. He had a very good draft and picked up some pretty good FA's but he was really limited in the moves that he could make. I keep seeing people say 'Bring in guys who can make plays' as if it's really that easy. Big play recievers and franchise QBs are not exactly a dime a dozen. So why are so many here blaming Saban for the players inability to execute?

I think Saban's doing a good job. Linehan has me worried a little though.

I know what you mean...but I calmed down a little since yesterday's game...and here is what I think...

1) Yes...I do feel that we should have ran the ball more with Ronnie Brown in the 2nd half.

2) But the Pats D is dictating what we do on offense...they are saying...if you want to beat us...you have to throw the ball...and we are a more aggressive Offense under Linehan and I like that. If we ran the ball 3 times and got stopped...we all would be saying why didn't we throw the ball?

3) If...we would have capitalized early in the 1st half..we would have ran the ball more in the 2nd Half...we should have easily gone into the half 17-0 or at least 13-0.

Overall...I'm happy with the the Fins progress so far even though we have not won games late...we need to gain some confindence and believe that we will win and make plays to win games...this is an attitude...which I feel that we will begin to have.

3 wins in a row...starting against Cleveland.

Go Fins!!!

I completely agree. The only sad thing is that a Bucs fan is critizing Miami fans on the support for their team.:shakeno:

Because they are crybabies and they have to blame somebody.

Thank you for your input, I think your dead on and you summed up my feelings on the subject perfectly.

dominizzo, maybe you should have asked a buddy if your post made sense before you wrote it, cause I think you're the only one that might get laughed at here. It's actually one of the smartest threads I have heard all season in this place. Thanks for the input Bucfan, I agree completely with you. There are allot of things wrong with this team, but I'm happy to say that coaching is not one of them. Saban put together a hell of a staff and is not lettling the media sway him to change his players or methods like our ex-fearless leader did for the last five years. I do question some of the final drive play calling, but I don't blame the man for putting his faith into his OC and his QB. Thing is that our QB shouldn't be in the league, and I really don't know what's up with the OC, but I'm not giving up on him after just the first half of his first season with these players.

Wow, it takes a Bucs fan to instill some degree of comon sence in this board. Thank you sir.

He's the HC, and we have to blame someone for being 3-6 right now. I can't think of anyone more responsible than Saban himself....

He's going to get tons of heat this off-season. This is exactly what the guys from the media were hoping for. All of the off-season rules Saban set up with the media, and how he kicked them out of the Phinz training facility, is going to come back to bite Nick in the *** I'm afraid...

As much as I hate to say it, he deserves whatever he's going to get....

PHINZ RULE!!!

Yeah, but he inherited a 4-12 P.O.S. team! Saban is good but not a magician.

A 4-12 team that with a running game wouldn't have been a 4-12 team. And lets wait for another year or two to proclaim if Saban is good....or not.

I don't understand what he's going to get. A good talking to by the media. Who gives a rats *** what the media thinks or what they are going to do about it. This is Sabans team and if he wanted to play mare at QB, that's what he's going to do. Did you not see how much continued faith Wayne H. had with Wanstache? You honestly think that after how we went after Saban, and how much we payed him to bring us back to elite status, that they're going to let him go after one year of him coaching a bunch of lucky losers that were drafted and paid way over their talent level? C'mon dude, take a couple of deep breathes, and let some common sense seep into your brain.
