Did I miss something? Didn't we just have a game where we turned it over 0 times, ran relatively well, got good decisions from our QB, and outstanding play by our D?

What's with all the "Chambers can't do this" and "Joey stinks" etc. I'm seeing around here right now? Does it really matter if it's Chambers or Booker or Welker or Joey or Daunte out there making plays? They're wearing the Dolphin uniform, and they're getting it done.

This "no. 1 WR" and "starting QB" bickering is getting ridiculous. Why does it bother so many people that Chris is getting many catches or Joey isn't throwing for 4 TD's each week? We've won 5 out of 6 against some very good competition, and all I ever see anymore is a bunch of pissing and moaning about who our WR's and QB's should be...

Enjoy the ride people...quit the bitchin'

Good points, all.

It goes back to my problem with this forum. There are people in here more interested in their own agendas (ie Chambers sucks, Daunte will never be back) than actually talking intelligently about the games and the direction of the team.

These people are called malcontents at work and school.

Because good team play doesnt excuse poor individual performance.

I didnt see the game today so I cant comment on anyones play today.

It seemed to me that everyone played pretty well today...yeah...offesnively it didn't measure up to the D, but it was pretty good. Special teams ruled the day in terms of field position, and for the most part we came away with points or pinned back the Patriots behind the 10. IMO, they couldn't have played a much better game overall.

I was completely exhausted and fell asleep during the second quarter so Im not sure what happened but I dont think there is a such thing as a bad 21-0 win. So Im happy with this week, Im happy anytime we win but that doesnt mean we cant criticize guys play you know? But I agree some people take it to far

I am hardly a rose-colored-glasses guy but I was VERY pleased by this game. We played conservatively and close to the vest, the defense played lights out and produced turnovers and we ran the ball when we needed to. AND the special teams played VERY well. I was impressed. Very good win.

Totally agree.

I also think there is residual anger and frustration over the 1 and 6 start and scapegoats must be found. :tantrum: In my opinion there is blenty of blame to go around. Still, I perceive the glass as being half full.

Excellent post. Only thing I have been complaining about is how a team of this caliber could have let themselves sink into such a deep hole. Looking at this team play the last 5 weeks makes you wonder how they lost to the Bills (at home) the Packers (at home) and the Texans. I see the Jets and the Pats and I don't believe they have better talent than the Phins.

You can stay up till all hours of the night criticizing this football team and posting 11,000 times but you can't stay awake for three hours to watch the Fins beat the Pats.

You would have had to drag me off in a body bag to not watch the Dolphins each week.

And I had 3 hours of sleep last night.

great post. it would be great if more people listened

Theres a difference between blind pessimism and justifiable critique. Amazing win by the Dolphins today, but thats all on the D. The offense didn't look impressive/dominant but it was efficient. Did what it had to do to get the job done but nobody should confuse this for the Chargers who can score at will.

I think people need to take wins and losses with a grain of salt. Don't celebrate too much or don't talk about the sky falling. Chambers is inconsistent and Joey a marginal QB whether we win 21-0 or lose 21-0. One game doesn't suddenly change whats true. Nobody should be pessimistic just to spoil the party, but nobody should lie to themselves either. Great game, enjoy the win, and yes stop bickering with each other. Hopefully we can win next week and keep it going.
