What's with the SI mock today?

Granted, it's a mock draft of area sportswriters who make these selections and it doesn't look like trades are even done, but damn, you have to do that if it ever did come up on Saturday.

Even in this mock, they're at the last pick of round one and Henne, Flacco and Groves are all still there as the GMen draft. We'd love that to be the case on Saturday.
 
We'd take that in a heartbeat, this guy has no idea what he is talking about. The first rounder alone would be more than enough compensation.
 
Wow, that's frikin sad. I love JT as much as anyone, but that's just fikin sad. BTW, I don't want Matt Jones in a Fins uni. But I'll take their first.
 
I'm not crazy about Jones either, but throw him in with # 26 and a 5th rounder for JT and it's DONE!
 
Is he joking? We wouldn't take a 1st and 5th round pick plus Matt Jones?
 
I had Pat Sims middle of the sencond. But the Jac. should take Taylord for their first.If they want to compete with the Pat. Taylord is their guy.
 
If that round went that way (GMen took Kenny Phillips at the end), I think the trifecta would be elated. We'd pick at the top of round two and have our choice of Groves (my preference), Henne and Flacco if we were truly interested in those three players.
 
I was going through Jax's newspapers online and the only thing close to that was their 2nd pick and M.Jones. Sounds like M.Jones is more of a salary dump because their pretty disappointed in him so far.
 
JT isnt going to be traded till draft day... The Jags are gonna sit back until its there turn to pick and if theres noone there worth there while they pull the trigger for JT.
 
hmm, i gotta take this deal. I LOVE JT, but i think that for the good of the franchise, you gotta make this deal. Another 1st rounder which will allow us to address a pass rusher or a big DT (Groves would be nice at 26, but if he's gone, Kentwan Balmer looks really good to me) Also, i think CB could be on the table, if we think Groves is still going to be available at 32, we could jump up real quick snag Cason and then still get Groves. plus we add a 5th rounder, which is great since that's the only round we dont pick and allows us to fill another need with young talent and we get someone to experiement with in Matt Jones (maybe he can still play qb? just kidding), if nothing else, you have to respect Matt Jones' athletic ability and what he could do if defenses leave him alone, which is more than i can say for Hagan or Camarillo and whoever else is behind them.
