What's with all these Fin fans calling out everyone who has been disgruntled due to our 1-6 start? Are you serious? The season is not over, Chicago was not a final exam. We can't be content with this one game. As Dan Dierdoff beat into anyone's skull who watched the game, we're still 2-6 come Monday. Yes we had a great game and played with passion today, but there's alot of damage done. We have to basically win every other game this year to have a 50-50 shot at the playoffs. It was great to see Ronnie play great, and Jason Allen have a pick and play pretty well in coverage, but we needed these guys weeks ago. Yes the o-line has been pretty bad, but playmakers produce, no excuses. I never thought it was fair to call Ronnie a bust, but how can you call out all the "haters" after one game? He's gonna have good games and quiet games. Its a gray area, with no right or wrong. I just wouldn't book thier tickets to Honolulu just yet, I'd like to see some consistency first.

There's alot of "I told ya so's" and fan bashing. But anyone who follows this team should realize that we are not the typical 1-6, now 2-6 team. We're not the type of team who gets blown out 31-0. We have a tough D, and we play teams tight...we just eventually lose in the end. We play not to lose. Today, we played to win, and the difference was evident. (Mularkey still had some ugly plays called however...we need to work on our screens big-time)
Point is, it shouldn't be so shocking that we didn't get crushed today...I don't think we have a bunch of clairvoyants running around on the FH boards.

Lets enjoy this game, it was sweet. But I think alot of folks need to get off thier soap boxes. We're all Dolphin fans here (except for a few Patsie, Jets, and Bill fans who don't have a halfway decent fansite of thier own). Lets be good to one another, maybe take off the blinders, and enjoy this moment in peace. And as sweet as this game was, it'd be sweeter if we were playoff contenders. If there's one thing we've been consistent with under Saban, it's winning when there's nothing to lose.

because these ppl make it diffuclt enought o supprot ur team with their own WITCHUNTS on us positive ppl who stick it out instead of jumping ship. If your big enough to trash your own guys when theyre down be big enough to admit you were flat out wrong when you are. I hate loudmouths who just react and dont think before they speak out...and now that the shoe is ont he other foot u dont hear from them...interesting.....

thank you for making this message. I really dont understand the reasoning behind why they have to make those type of threads? Those people must spend their entire day on the computer.

Im all for positivity, but how can you call someone "wrong" when they are mad that our team was 1-6? They weren't wrong. 1-6 sucks. It was an awesome win today, but guess what? 2-6 sucks? The shoe isn't on the other foot. We won, and everyone is happy...but we should've been playing with this kind of heart all season. How can you blame people for being frustrated? You weren't an angry fan when we lost to the Green Bay Packers at home? That game made you happy? When they started 3 rookie offensive lineman, with an inexperienced secondary? We lost games against bad teams, and I for one was angry. But you act like we were granted a playoff birth today? Enjoy the victory, but lets save the champagne for later.

Have you read any of the negative posts on this board in the last two months?

Let me give you an example:

I think we have a shot at beating Chicago if we win the turnover battle, and play mistake free.

Take off your Aqua and Orange tinted glasses, homer!!!!!

:sidelol: :sidelol: :sidelol:

You obviously know nothing about the game of football. A record of 1-6 means we are a terrible team, and have no chance against a high school squad, let alone an undefeated team. :shakeno:

Let me give you an example:

I need to stop chiming in on my own thread...but I just have to say that I can't blame folks for being angry about this team. the first 7 games (even the ugly win against the Titans) were horrendous. And one great victory doesn't put angry fans in the wrong.

Um, aren't you on your computer right now?

I'm at work, what's your excuse?

We don't need to batter each other, we're all Fin Fans here, well most anyway. Point being I too get tired of the Fire Saban and Ronnie's a bust threads, but they've got the right to their opinion too. I was guilty of expecting us to get killed today and boy did THAT crow taste sweet!

And lets stay realistic, all today means is maybe we're not as bad as we've been playing all season up till today, maybe we start playing to win after this game and actually enjoy a few wins. Personally I just hope we still get a decent draft pick, because I do NOT see us getting into the playoffs.

I'm just enjoying a Miami victory. Honestly, I thought the Bears would win it but they didn't and I'm both staggered and delighted to be wrong. I'm not unreastically imagining this means Miami is going to win nine straight and get into the playoffs (Although that's something I would dearly love to be wrong about) but I'm certainly going to enjoy a great victory like this one. Things haven't been great this season (As is quite an understatement) and you've really got to enjoy the wins when they come, especially against strong teams like Chicago.

You right. Fans weren't wrong to be angry. But if you posted something like this...

We have no chance against the Chicago Bears.

Then you were wrong!!!

That's all it is. It's not a witch hunt. It's just fans who were made to feel like an idiot for believing their team had a chance to win posting some responses to the naysayers. What's wrong with that?

Good point. My goal of this thread is for us to enjoy the win positively together. When Miami losses, the positive people are the bad guys. When we win, the negative people are the bad guys. Everyone's a bad guy at some point, but the fact remains...we had a great win today...why waste negative energy on fellow fans? its not they were rooting against us today. the boards should be flowing with love today people !

to answer your post, ide have to say that there is a big diference between being disgruntled and posting stupid things out of frustration because of our bad season. We're all disgruntled, but to post things like "Ronnie sucks, Fire Saban etc." is pretty lame and that's what I think all the calling out has been about. All the people that wanna rip apart every part of our team as a quick fix cop out to why weve had a bad season should be called out, they are the same people who never gave us a chance today, the same people who have posted the "Ive bene thinking about switching teams" etc. The thing is, there will be no threads bashing Saban, Ronnie, or talk of switching teams, simply because they are bandwaggoners. They are the people saying they're proud to be Dolfans now that we beat the Bears and that shouldnt be excused.

nothing when you put it that way. But alot more confrontational stuff is going on.

I agree with you. But at this point in the season, we have to play to win. Even at the expense of a high draft pick. It's a crappy catch-22.

However, if we're 5-9 or 4-10 with two games to go, I'm gonna start rooting for the draft pick. One way to avoid just giving up is to start a few of the rookies to give them some real game experience at that point.
