Seriously? Kerry Collins/Tommy Maddox & a mid round pick like Croyle/Whitehurst will be simple and sufficient. Just my Opinion.

I wouldn't give the Lions anything for him. I think that we should get something from the Lions for taking Harrington. JMHO. Seriously. Not Kidding.

I dont think harrington is a good qb. Point blank is he was a system qb in college and didnt have the talent level to warrant a top pick. I dont think he fits into our system and dont see him being successful here, or many other places.

No Joey Harrington! We should select Omar Jacobs with a mid-round draft pic.

I would like to see us sign Kerry Collins first. However if they do trade for Joey, I would be ok giving up one or two of our 7th round picks.

I'd be happy with that scenario as well...

I'm not a big Harrington fan, but I would give up some 7th rounders for him. Nothing more. Also Only if his cap # is 2 million or below. Not the 8 mil he's making now.

If not him the next best thing. Seriously, Harrington is a good QB and could be a solid backup in this league. He didn't really have receivers until last year and if with that no running game. Detriot has been stupid to draft WR last last couple of years but when they have been the games they have struggled. Watch a few of their games and the WR seemed cut off or changed routes and there was just no chemistry with them mostly because of injury but also youth.

Miami would be a great fit for him as a BACK UP! Although I think he is a good pick up for a back up would scare the shat out of me as a starter. Collins is another story and would be my best guess ONLY because he doesn't cost any picks to get. Saban won't be doing that since he had to give up a second for Daunte. No way he does this for w picks in the same draft for the same position.

Although Joey has not played well as a professional, he was incredible in college. He played better in college than any QB to come out of the PAC 10 in the past 10 years, including both of USC's Heisman Trophy winners. I saw him play on several occasions and he was great. He single handedly (without a strong supporting cast) lead Oregon to many victories when the Duck's finished #2 in the country in 2001. Maybe he won't ever turn out to be a good NFL QB, but he has a ton of potential and is worth a shot if he becomes available. He also was a 3.8 GPA Finance major and is a concert pianist. The guy has talent!

haha, that's funny. No way we'd take that contract without him taking a cut to like a mil a year.
