What's would you want to happen next?

Do you guys think that there will be a trade or FA aqcuisition for a RB? Safety? Any other position? If a trade happens who do you guys think will get traded? Here's a wild wish/prediction:

Miami trades:
Morris
Zgonina
3rd or 4th Round Pick

for

Tennessee trades:
Chris Brown
Lamont Thompson

Cut Russel then sign Rodgers.:D

What do you guys think?
 
how about we sign davenport and rodgers and trade zgonina and pik or player for thompson even tho i think we are fine at safety
 
I think the trade is more Madden than realistic. I can see maybe trading Zgonina for either a player or a pick, but I don't know if the player will be of big value. I believe Sammy Morris is in no way getting traded. He did nothing wrong other than trying to cure an illness.

I agree with the part about dropping Russell, but who takes his spot is uncertain. It could be one of our guys we just dropped, could be Charles Rogers, could be Skyler Green. We will just have to wait and see though.
 
i wish we just would have picked up tank williams in the off season for the safety spot instead of testing how hill will be at safety because i don't think he played much safety in oakland if any
 
davenport or suggs and cameron vaughn a linebacker from denver i hope we get.
 
Teams like Dallas and Tennessee were probably just waiting for us to cut Zgonina, now they'll have to trade us at least a conditional pick. I'm sure he will be shopped around.

In my mind, a guy like Davenport seems like a no-brainer if we can get him. Dayne wouldn't be bad either (imagine our RB's next year, Ronnie, Ricky, Morris and whoever).

Charles Rogers is tempting. If you can get him at the vet minimum, that's a worthwhile gamble right there. Excellent competition for Welker and Hagan.

I would also love to see us find a replacement for Berlin on the practice squad. With Joey probably having two years here, a project guy like McPherson or Jacobs might pan out by then.

I'd really like to know more about some of the LBs, DBs, and offensive lineman floating around out there. But I really don't know enough to comment.
 
i hope we keep zgonina but i dotn think we need to use picks or players to trade after so many people got cut. we can just sign them without giving up players and picks
 
We need a real backup TE more than we need draft picks. We don't even need a draft next year. With all the guys coming back off suspension and injury and the guys we are going to mature on the practice squad and NFL Europe; you can only add so many guys to a 53 man roster. We need a quality backup running back/special teams monster NOW! Bennie Anderson and Wade Smith chould not have been on our team at all this year. We need a RG Now!!!!! Next year we get Ricky Williams, Seth Mckinney, Will Poole,
etc. We have weaknesses and vulnerabilities at several positions right now.
We need some action to taken. And I don't mean scouring the trash heap.

That sounds good, or sign Davenport and another WR and try to get Schulters back.
 
I don't think SABAN picks up another DB UNLESS he is uncomfortable with the progress of DANIELS ankle ... it doesn't make sense to pick someone up for 2 weeks -- if DANIELS will be ready to go by then ...

ANDERSON is safe for these 1st couple weeks - not because of his performance or potential, but because we don't have many options ... it depends on how SABAN feels about Berger and Toledo ... ANDERSON gets released before the end of the season if both make it back by the break ...

We need a RB ... that one is plain and simple ... SABAN simply will NOT go into the season without an experienced backup for RONNIE ...
