What's your favorite Miami Dolphin Memory?

A.J. Duhe intercepting Richard Todd in the mud at the Orange Bowl and returning it for a TD to clinch the 14-0 win in the 82 AFC title game.

That was the first time the Fins made it to the Super Bowl since I became a fan (I was only three or four in the glory years) and it was the most exciting time. That Killer B defense was so fun to watch and during the playoffs, I believe they forced 13 turnovers in three games. They intercepted Fouts and Todd five teams each and were absolutely dominant.

Second has to be Marino completing his final 13 passes to beat the Chiefs in the wildcard. I thought Lewis had jumped that out and had the pick and all of the sudden, you see Clayton sprinting into the end zone and winging the ball into the stands.
 
I was 10 years old and had just watched AJ Duhe, Nat Moore and Tony Nathan kick the Evil Jets butts in the '82 AFC Championship Game. By some miracle, my mom saw a friend that actually knew Tony Nathan, who was my favorite athlete in the world, and said she would get him to autograph my Dolphins Jacket. What she didn't tell me is that she would introduce me to Tony and that he would introduce me to about 10 other Dolphins, who also signed my jacket.

As I walked out of the stadium, I was on cloud 9! All of the sudden, I saw Satan himself - MARK GASTINEAU - looking all sad while talking on the telephone. My mom said that I should get him to sign my jacket as well. I was thinking, NO WAY, but said OK with a devilish grin. I walked up within about 10 feet of that huge man and screamed, "Are you calling your mama? You big pu**y!" Then I took off running for my life because he could have snapped me like a twig!

Without a doubt, the greatest day in sports for me!:D
 
2000 -- playoff win in Miami against the Colts, Lamar's HUGE game.

1994 -- Marino's big comeback from injury in the opener vs. Pats (473 yds, 5 td, big comeback win)
 
My favorite Dolphins memories --

Jimmy Johnson's first game as head coach. Some no name RB named Karim-Abdul-Jabbar dropped 120 on the Patriots, and the Fins win 24-10.

During Don Shula's last season, Dan Marino hit a double-teamed Randall Hill (or was it OJ McDuffie) in the endzone to beat the Falcons by 2.

In Buffalo -- TBuck takes Jim Kelly's interception 100 yards for the touchdown and secures the win for the Fins.

2000 Wildcard game vs. Colts. Marino v. Elway on MNF in 1998 ...

What about worse Dolphins memories? Where were you when the Jags dropped 62 points on their neighbors to the South?

I Don't Remember The Score But When The Fins Played The Colts In Indy And The Fins Where Down By A Couple Of Touchdowns With Like 2 Or 3 Mins Left In The 4th They Came Back And Beat Them ... I Remember My Brothers Bugging The Crap Out Of Me Cause They Where Losing , And I Had The Last Laugh ...
 
72 AFC championship, Larry Seiples fake punt for a 38 yard gain. IF that play dont happen thers no perfect season, no rings we are the benglas
 
when i was at the colts -dolphins game in indy and marino broke the touchdown record for a season which is now held by a colt

That was mine. Priceless beating the Jets and hearing them cry after the game about how we flooded the field...The Bears game in 1985 & I can't remember the game exactly but it was vs the Jets and Duper caught a long bomb to win it with less than minute remaining. In the mid 80's. any help pinpointing that game would be great. Thanks

I loved the Turkey Day game...one of my best friends loves the Cowboys and I never let him live it down...as I recall, Lett tried to jump on the ball in the end zone after a blocked field goal and once he touched it and lost it it became ours for the picking....I remember the Fins players celebrating in the snow. I once had to eat spaghetti for Xmas dinner so pizza for Thanksgiving is understandable. ;)

My other fave moments:

1. Seeing us win back to back Superbowls in the early 1970's....I was 6 and 7 years old so I guess I did not appreciate it as much back then. :shakeno:

2. Dan Marino coming back from his achilles injury.

3. The fake spike and pass against the Jets.

4. Us beating New England this year put a big smile on my face.

5. Beating the Chicago Bears on MNF.

WORSE moment: Close tie between the San Diego playoff loss, and the 61-7 defeat to the Jags in Dan Marino's last game. :cry:
 
For me it was also the snow game vs Dallas. The fake spike was great too.

All I keep thinking is that there have been way more disappointments that are memories than there are special moments. Hopefully that will all change someday!!!
 
My worst moment was when Dan tore his ACL on my birthday, i think it was vs cleveland. He was never the same after that.
