Whats your honest opinion???

I remember being impressed with Cam Cameron's knowledge of football. Unfortunately his lack of leadership couldn't be determined from his press conference. I remember being a bit worried when I saw Tony Sparano's press conference. He didn't come across as a smart coach, but since I believed in what Parcells could offer at the time, I gave him the benefit of the doubt. I am impressed by what I've seen and heard from Coach Philbin so far. He's definitely a smart guy and he seems to have the kind of presence that commands attention and respect.

I was never impressed by any coaches press conference much less Phillbin's remarks.

I'll judge him by his actions; cowtowing to Ross and allowing Bowles to remain (keeping 3-4) isn't very impressive to me what so ever. A HC should allows pick and choose his own staff regardless of what the big boss thinks - See Dallas or the Raiders for the trainwreck of an owner imposing his thumbprint on the coaching staff.

Now, if he lands Andy Heck and Mike Sherman as his O-Line and OC respectively, that's impressive and worthy of respect.

Do you guys remember how Cameron and Sparano introduced themselves in their first press conference? My memory blows so I tried looking them up but I didn't have any luck. Basically I'm wondering, without any biases, does Philbin come off more inspiring than the other two? We all know how those two turned out but I know a lot of us were excited when they gave their introduction as well... God and it kills me how the Pats won again! I'm tired of losing each season and man would it be something if Philbin is the next great thing for us and can lead us back to dominance!!!

If I remember right, Cameron came off like a teen after his 1st conquest, and Tony came off like someone trying to convince everyone there was a new Sheriff in town, but neither was anywhere as inspiring or good as Philbin. After Philbin spoke, I came off like this guy already had a plan that incorporated any scenario.
