Alot criticized Brad Childress saying he REACHED big time for Tavaris Jackson; most say Tavaris would have been available in the 3rd or even 4th round. First Division I-AA player drafted in the 2006 draft. Tavaris even felt being drafted in the 3rd round would have been a stretch, so being picked 64th overall must have really shocked him.
Tavaris average NFL.com grades are 6.0, which is the minimum for a legitimate NFL starter.
