when did the supp pick begin

also where would miami pick in the draft?
2 nd overall like the college draft this year?

i have been a fan for 20 plus years and i dont ever remember a draft for supp.picks

It's more of a lottery type of thing, we'd be the team with the second best chances of winning (you get picks based on your performance the past season). I'm not sure how the round picks work but I know it's like a lottery.

That's my understanding of it as well. If you offer a pick in a certain round, you lose that pick in the round of the following year. It's done like a lottery weighted in favor of the teams with the worst records. In light of our historically low finish this past season, this might be a good year to give it a shot if there's someone we're interested in.

It's a weighted lottery then you make a bid like a 3rd or 4th rounder for a player and if you make the highest bid you win but then you lose that round pick in the next years draft.

From what i have been reading, we are only interested in Manuel Wright. I do expect for us to put down a draft pick for him, like a 3rd or 4th.
