Bingo!!!Yup people don’t realize Tua’s always been hurt by trying to do so much. Look at the teams he’s gotten hurt against, aside from the original late buffalo hit that started it all, it’s been him holding and trying to make plays. He’s a competitor and wants to win so he’ll try to lower his head or extend plays that shouldn’t be extended while taking unnecessary hits.
We’ve been almost exclusively tua dependent and he has to play nearly flawless or we don’t win whether that’s been because the defense or the line it’s been the case the whole time mcdaniel’s been here. So when we play the tougher teams and the oline and defenses play matters more he tries to be someone he’s not and that’s when he gets hurt. So no will an improved oline physically prevent him from getting hurt? No however if we have a better line/run game and a solid defense again then yes mentally it’ll be less on Tua he we can not be so Tuapendent if we win or lose the game.
