To start asking for a qb change.Gus has been missing wide open recievers and hes not getting alot of time but,he is getting some time.Is sage and AJ that bad.If so i dont like our chances. The beg of the year i was yelling 10-6 11-5 if we catch a break or two.But atleast 9-7. I dont know exactly know how menny passes gus had but i think he passed to dam much. we need to run some more I think we had like 18 carries thats stupid we got two horses in the backfield.(and sammie is a nice back 2)If the line cant pass block make it simple start smashing people in the mouth run it down there throught.then play action.Football is attitude and where lacking on offense.

Well, it isn't okay to change it as long as gus has better chemistry with the starters than everybody else. For better or for worse, until we are out of the playoff hunt, I doubt we make the change, but with our divison leader being a 3-3 team, I doubt we make any serious changes until we have 8 losses.

He is most definitely our weakest link.

What chemistry? More like a lack of chemistry.

Look we are dealing with a head coach that was groomed by Belichick and has won a NCAA national title. Nick knows what he's doing and Gus looked the best in preseason and I think for the most part has been a solid starter. AJ was horrible last year and horrible in the preseason. Sage is good but I am not sure he should start. Gus does overthrow at times, I'll be the first to point it out but you have got to credit alot of those incompletes to the receivers. With the exception of Welker, the wide outs are playing like rookies. Gus has a strong arm and he can be accurate but he needs help from the line and they are just not up to par right now. I think if he had the time to relax and get a good look downfield you'd all be chanting GUS! GUS! GUS! We should draft a QB next year, as high as we can and turn him into our next franchise QB like we did with Dan but for now I think Gus is the best we have and it's not like we're settling for second best.

Too say he needs time to be good is ridiculous. Feeley and sage would look like all stars too if they had all day to pick and choose who they want to throw to. Our offensive line isnt the problem Gus is

i actually think gus takes too long to throw. the o-line is spotty, but its not the reason for offense's lack of production

His deep balls have no arch. They're line drives and they just sail right over the receiver's heads. I think you're right Maynard, he takes too long to throw and then when he does he throws way too hard and by the time the ball gets there a defender gets the beat on it and breaks it up or intercepts it.

do u reember how danny used to throw his deep balls. no arch, cmon now

:) i was think i was the only one who thinks this. your exactly right. the thing i dont get is why every deep pass has to be an all out bomb. if the WRs are getting tight, single coverage then the WRs shouldn't need 30-40 yds to get seperation.

remember the game 1 pass where booker ran a fake slant into a fade route for the long score? that pass was only 15 yards. the bucs were sitting on the slant all game. where was that play?

yeah, except dan dropped the ball right over the WRs shoulder in stride. dan was uncanny and cant be compared unless your talking about farve, not gus

i can compare the trajectory which he throws the deep ball.

gus sucks, i dislike gus, but ill root for him to do well so we wi, im just saying he throws the deep ball like danny, if he had dannys ability to drop it over one defender and between 2 others, we wouldnt have any issues right now...

no i hear ya. thats why i think there are some other ways of getting good yardage in the passing game besides heaving deep passes.

gus actually throws a nice touch intermediate ball, like the one to welker last week. the fins need more of those
