Jason is my third favorite Dolphin of all time but I think it may be close to the end of the line for him.

Today he showed nothing and had 1 tackle...that's it

In the last 6 games he has 11 tackles...not even 2 a game
he has 1/2 a sack plus 1 interception

I don't know what his problem is but I do know how bad the results heck even Roth has almost as many tackles(10) in 2 games for Cleveland than JT has in his last 6 games

It just kills me to say it would be better to sit the under productive JT and play Wake more than the 10 snaps a game he has been seeing

What say you??

Agreed. Taylor is old. His career is coming to an end. Im not so sure about playing wake all the time tho. However i do feel that we should try some new people out there, Anderson maybe?

JT is probably only a third of the player that he once was. It's obvious he has lost a couple of steps and I think it's time we find some youth. He'll be 36 years old in 2010 and I don't want him as a starter at that point!!!

JT plays the run wayyy better than porter. keeps containment wayyy better than porter. just doesnt put up stats, and as seen with henne, stats arent everything.

if anyone is gonna be benched, it better be gibril. he is just turrible.

Gerbil Wilson sucks. Tyrone Culver always plays better when he's in there then Wilson ever does. I think Gerbil Wilson is actually former Dolphins CB Jerry Wilson

Taylor gets pressure on the QB, even if he doesn't get to the QB. I am not a big Taylor fan...so I am not being a homer. Would I rather see Wake...hell yes!!! But, would I rather see Wake replace Porter...once again hell yes.

This thread isn't about Wilson (who's shortcomings are numerous and well documented on this site), it is about whether or not JT is still worthy of holding his starting spot. I say no, and it is hard to say it. JT is a ghost of himself, and younger talent should be rotated in more often. We need youth and power at LB this offseason, and yes, Wilson should be gone.

the reason i chose to talk about wilson instead of taylor because wilson is the worst player on the defense and is more of a problem than JT is.
