Is it coming soon? Or is it not going to happen?

I think we need to put him out there where Penny used to be in the wildcat last season. Even if we never give him the ball once it will keep coaches and players a little on there toes knowing at any time we can have ginn or cobs running downfied for a big play.

I don't know that he will ever be an every down nfl wide receiver, but i'm feeling your idea to put him in as a wide receiver in the wild cat. At least presents one more option for the defense to worry with.

Actually we don't really know what goes on behind closed doors...I wouldn't be surprised to see him line up at receiver...he has the size and speed...and most likely the hands...since he touches the football most of the time and has played baseball. I would think the Dolphins would wait for Thigpen to catch up with the offense first...just in case.

Never.

Tyler Thigpen will be in that spot within a week or two. He has already caught a touchdown in the NFL as a WR as well as ran for at least one.

And of course he has passed for a number of them.

Check him out on YouTube. He is also a running QB but he is 6'1" and 225 pounds.

Pat White will be the 3rd QB the rest of this year.

We're trying to come to terms with the pat white pick, please let us live in the hypothetical, likeuntogod! ha ha ha jk. You are probably right.

And you are going to use your number 2 QB and place him in harms way? I don't think so. Just seems to make more sense to use White as a receiver at times than to risk your potential backup QB...especially since he's new to the system.

You mean use our fast, elusive, play-making 2nd round draft pick in a way to contribute this year at a position of utter weakness on our football team? Nah, that's crazy talk.

Don't you know? Pat White fooled everyone - turns out he's only 12 years old and not able to run, catch, or throw in the NFL. He's basically a non-white non-Morman John Beck. And I thought you actually knew what was going on....

you learn something new every day

People need to realize Thigpen is nothign special. If he was why would he be a third stringer on one of the worst teams in the NFL. Much of his stats last year came against garbage token defense when KC was down big.

I'm afraid for Pat White.

He looks like if a cornerback bumps him too hard inside that 5 yard chuck area, he might go flying into some cheerleaders lap. :chuckle:

Why am I not surprised that would worry a Dolfag?

What are you talking about...White is 6' 190 lbs.

That makes him the same size as Hester, J. Knox, S. Smith, H. Douglas, S. Moss and countless other receivers that are currently playing in the NFL.
