I have to say it must have been out of ignorance or just love for my own team becuase i really changed my mind on him. I know his arm is a bit week at times but he really knows how to lead the team and not fold under preasure. Playoffs or not he is the reason we are having a great season. Sure its not all him but he sure helps. Any of you had a change of heart since his arrival?

Well not to mention that this is the best year Pennington has ever had too. I just think that Parcell's know how to use this guy to his fullest potential.

He's a perfect quarterback to fit Parcells/Sparano's style. Mistake free, play not to lose football.

Personally I've always been a fan of him. I felt bad when he got booed after getting hurt last season. Just goes to show you that Jet fans are indeed mother ****ers.

I didn't like Pennington much when he played for the Jets because he always seemed to find ways to beat us, but I am so glad we got him. Many people were calling him Noodle Arm, but he is showing you don't have to have a rocket arm to win. His accuracy is what seperates him from most QB's, and as long as we don't turn the ball over a lot we give ourselves a chance.

I think that and with him getting benched by the Man-genius himself (probably by a decision that came from the GM or owner). Although I'm still on the fence with Penny. I mean it is surreal to have him be the QB especially with the line of crap QB's we've had since Marino left. Can I accept him as the Dolphins quarterback? Absolutely. Can I forgive him for the anguish that he caused during all those Jets/Phins rivalry games? Not entirely, but if he's the QB that raises the Lombardi trophy within the next couple years, that would just be amazing.

just watched the greatest game ever played on ESPN, and all I can say is Unitis had the same kind of arm as penny, and was accurate, and people consider him one of the best of all time

My outlook changed when we brought Chad on board. Learning more about his back ground and with the Parcells connection, it made for such a good fit for him and the Dolphins. You can see how he has matured thru the years. He's become a good leader. Impresses on the field and off.

Imagine how good Penny would be with Chambers,Booker & Welker as his recivers. He can have Cam,Ginn & Bess and have the best season of his carreer.

I think you should substitute Sparano's name for Parcells.

normally I would have disparaged a Jet player but Penny seemed to own us and he has always been a class act

He's definetely up there on my list .. his leadership has to do with a lot of it for me, this team needed one, and we sure as hell got one. He's up there with ZT for me, the impact him and ZT when he was here on this team was just amazing.. we are nowhere near this record without Chad Pennington.

Is it just me or does Penny seem to be happier here than he was in NY? I'm just glad he is on our team and we don't have to play against him anymore.

Anyone would be happy to leave that crap hole :D

But seriously he does, I think here he gets the respect he deserves.. and its just a great atmosphere, I mean, who wouldn't want to play for Miami?
