It set us back 3 years. What a monumental mistake that was in this franchise's history. We wouldn't be wishing for a 37 year old quarterback or a 1st round disapointment to come lead our team. If only Nick would have chosen Brees. Maybe, just maybe Dante can come back from his injury, but you know as good as I do what 3 or 4 torn knee ligaments can mean. Its a long road back. I do believe however we are finally headed in the right direction with Cam and Randy running things, but even they only have so much to work with. GO FINS "LET RICKY RUN"

yeah that was our biggest mistake. not giving Brees the extra money...we coulda had our QB SET, for 7-8 years. our O-line still woulda sucked...but we can fix that this off-season.

now..im all for bringing BOTH green and carr in...let green, carr, culpepper, lemon battle for the starting QB spot...we got nothing to lose, the winner will obviously be successful. also bring in a lot of good OL, the winners will obviously be successful.

well i think it was logical to pick dc because db injured his throwing arm which he could injured again at anytime.

Haven't we said this all before? When Saban first came in, we were glad to get rid of Wannstedt and his drafting. Wannstedt is the one that set us back 10 years, trading away all of our picks and picking up duds in the draft with the scarce amount of pics we still had.

I'm no Saban fan, never was, BUT it was the Dolphins medical staff that blew that one. They said Drew's shoulder was too big of a risk and taht Daunte's knee would be fine. Saban listened to them.

Oops....................

OH MY GOD!!! I dont mean to be mean or anything, but I can't stand this subject. The Saban regime, yes regime, wanted to sign Brees. They could've signed Brees, but NO doctor would give them the thumbs up to do so. Plain and simple Brees was a BOOM or BUST situation, and no coach should ever give a boom or bust the kind of money he wanted.

I really wish we got Brees, I really do, but honestly, while looking at some of the info Saban looked at, I'm shocked that any team would give him that kind of money. Saban was an awful guy, but on that choice it came down to health, and every doctor he asked said that they couldn't give the thumbs up on Brees.

It was not logical, Daunte sucked *** in 2005 compared to Brees. trading for Daunte set back this franchise at least 3 years. I can't believe his fan boys still want to give this guy another chance, what a joke!

Saban Is A Turd!

The best thing to happen to the Phins is that little turd running away from adversity and going to Bama!! I'm sure if thing get tough up there, he'll lie and bail again and he'll coach at Hoover High!!

Saban is an ***, but it was our medical staff that messed that one up.

you know whast funny? saban apparently said if allen turns out great he will ****in tear heads in teh organization b/c they failed Allen and he said that but then with brees apparently they were "worried" about his arm but he didnt have the balls to pick him up?

You know whats funny? HE HAS MAAAAAAAAAAD BALLS/GAME to his Defensive PEARS BTW HIS LEGS but on offense he had ZEROO!

Ive said this many times. Hold onto to Gus, Pick up Hutchingson in FA, and trade up n grab Cutler was what we should of been looking to do.
