IMO, the ideal scenario on offense should be Ginn and Hartline starting on the outside with Bess in the slot in 3 WR sets. In 2 WR sets, Bess should replace Hartline. I'd also like to see both rookie corners starting with Will Allen being the nickel cb. I know Vontae Davis hasn't played much, but when he's been on the field he's performed. The same can't be said for Will Allen.

With Henne starting, I can see Hartline starting at WR before Davis starts at CB. Unfortunately, I don't see Davis starting this season unless Will Allen goes down with an injury. I just don't see this regime starting 2 rookie corners. I hope I'm wrong.

Hartline played more than camarillo last game it seemed... he was out there plenty...

Davis has played also and hes played very well, you haven't heard his name called but thats a good things for a CB... i would like to see him take over on the outside if Allen keeps struggling and maybe move Allen to the nickel? i dont know if he can play there though

Hartline is an X not a Z. Thus, Hartline would be unseating Ginn.

It would be Turner unseating Camarillo if anything.

Correct.. and I believe Carmarillo is ahead of Bess on the depth chart. Depends on how they line up and the snap count for each player the coaches determine.

Yeah but I dont think that Bess being behind Cam means anything. Bess is the starting Y in 3 WR sets. The only time Cam is ahead of Bess is when they go 2 WR and have the TE act as the Y.

good points guys.but didnt hart start next to ginn in game one? i am to old to remember lol.if we go to 1-5 or 2-6. v davis should be playing period.the guy can tackle, and just needs experience.i would like to see are rookie safety play .he was very solid in pre season.never got burnt and was always around the ball.he tackled well to and thats with 4.3 speed .how do we not give this kid a shot?what about starks at de?man he has done nothing but be a big body holding his ground.he has not even gotten close to the qb.he hasnt driven his guy back once and made tackle in the backfield.i know he is playing the run,but dam.how do not have a young guy that is explosive, and can beat his guy once in a while on 1st and 2nd down?a lot of teams are throwing on us on 1st and 2nd downs, and we get no pressure at all from the d-line.

I don't know why camarillo is even in the line up he can't get open and looks to have lost what he had last year !

regardless of who's the X or Z there were plenty of times last game with Ginn and Hartline out there... im sure we can mix and match and that Hartline can play either spot

Camarillo is having a very poor season. Pro Football Focus provides reasonable stats for checking your assumptions from watching the game. Camarillo's wide receiver pass ony ranking is #56, and his overall ranking is #68. Bess has a pass only ranking of #13 and an overall ranking of #24. Clearly, Bess is significantly outperforming Camrillo.

As for Hartline, it is a mixed bag of rankings. His rankings are #58 for pass only and #92 for overall. The penalties are the reason for his low overall ranking. I would rather develop Hartline, and allow Camarillo to work through his coming back from knee injury issues with limited reps.
