I can't wait until I can watch the Dolphins on Championship Sunday. 1985 was a long time ago. Many of our brothers and sisters on this board were not even born yet.

I hope that we will all get to feel what the Chicago Bears fans are feeling right now.
 
Hey, it takes time. Look at the poor saints, cardinals, lions, and others who have never won one.

And what pieces would those be? We still need at least 9 out of 11 new starters on Offense, maybe only 8, but still, you get my point right?

Thats what I was thinking. Exactly what pieces do we have?? A good owner maybe, a nice DL, a couple of LBs. I like Ronnie but he isn't gonna carry us. We are a LOOOOONNNNNNNGGGGGGG way from the playoffs much less the the AFC championship game.
Maybe in 5 years.
 
guys i have been waiting since the stone ages but i think it will be two years before we are playoff ready and here is why.
we only have 1 good te , 1 good wr , 1 good olineman ,a rb that may be susended again if he even sneezes but ronnie is a darn good back but behine ronnie morris and minor are below average backs . and the qb is a mess and this is on the offense . our defense needs a good tweeking esp. the secondary. i would say we are 3 years away if we can get the help we need in this draft.

we need two te's three wr's , qbs, 3 olinemen and 1 more big runingback because i dont trust ricky .

the defense can be fixed with 2 dts , 2 olbs, 1 cb and 1 safety i would say 1 year on defense but we need two years on offense to even think about a .500 record let alone a playoff or superbowl. (imo)

yup....I was born 1986!
 
Unfortunately for me, I was 5 when the dolphins were last in the super bowl....so I didnt see it. So I've only seen one championship game appearance (1992) and that was a dissapointment.

It'll happen again someday. May not be next year or the year after....hell, it may be 15 years from now. But it'll happen, I have faith.

Those teams are the laughing stock of the NFL year in year out!! We're the Dolphins,A TRADITION, we aren't used to this drought!! It's been 2001 since our last playoff appearance.......We're the DOLPHINS..... Part of the elite NFL!!!!!Counting Napolean's or the "GREAT FRAUD'S" last season, the Phins only have 3 losing seasons since 1970.We'll be back!!!
 
i was born in 86 so i only got to remember some playoff games, i remember the dolphins/chargers

that was one of the worst losses i will ever remember

i hope we will be celebrating soon, football is a funny sport, sometimes a team can get hot and carry that through a season, when nobody expects them to
