If you guys look at the dolphins stats and look at Miami's abismal playoff history you will find that it wasnt our running game that kept us from advancing pass the second round .

every playoff loss from 1999 to last year was due to soft defenses but if our defense had not been on the field so long they could have been a little more stought.

the disturbing thing to me and I hope that I am not the only fan that wants to be good at both passing and running and good at offense and defense . a one dimensional dolphins team for the last century ( seemly like ) has been we havent had real playmakers at wr, qb, te, and oline .

I should add that our defense being too small may have contributed to our december collapses .

the big question is , when and who were the last tightend ends and wrs to make it to the pro bowl ?

what disapoints me is also the fact we have a #2 pick and a #9 pick and the whatever pick was Veron Carey was to all have not been to a pro bowl and for what we paid these guys they should at least be able to be a pro bowler.

guys when you can go watch the dez Bryant, O.J McDuffie Irving Fryar and the Mark brothers clips on you tube this should induce some imagination into having Henne and Bryant combo with Ronnie and Polite in the mix at being a great offense. :earlyriser::jcane::boohoo::ponder:

The Colts defense was on the field for 45 mins and we still couldn't beat em...We just dont know how to put 60 mins of football together yet leading to our 7-9 record. We just need to keep improving.

Being selected to the Pro Bowl doesn't always indicate how good/great a player is/was for that year.

To answer you question.
The last TE to make the Pro Bowl was Keith Jackson in 1992.

The last WR to make the Pro Bowl was Chris Chambets in 1995. Before that was Irving Fryar in 1994.

We will good at both running and passing when
1) We can get some continuity along the offensive line. Meaning having the same five guys line up for more than one year.
2) We have a QB who can exploit another teams weaknesses.
3) Our receivers can make something happen after the catch.

#2 pick on offensive line? If you are talking about Jake Long, it's #1. Am I missing something here??

when we get a wr1 and an rb who could make it through the year

chambers made the probowl in like 2005, had a great year

People complain about our drives taking too long. Not enough quick strike. Now our Offense is scoring but not taking enough time. It all comes down to a crappy D. Fix the D, Fix the Fins.

I believe you meant Chambers in 2005.

I'd rather us get a good TE then add another rookie WR.

We have much more of a two TE offense then we do a 3-4 wide WR offense.

Defense! Defense!

Remember that year they had something insane like 8 or 9 pro bowlers and didn't make the playoffs:lol: I think it was 2003.
