When this team gets some guys that can actually make plays, we'll be in this game. Oh and we need a decent player at that QB position too.

Maybe by you. But anyone with any talent evaluation skills can see Henne is going to be very good.
i personally think&believe we have our next franchise QB in young Chad Henne...but that's just the opinion i've formed after watching him play this past season...When this team gets some guys that can actually make plays, we'll be in this game. Oh and we need a decent player at that QB position too.

Again, going to be very good and very good are two different things. I've heard a lot of our QBs since Dan were supposed to be very good. Prove it to me on the field or gtfo.
Super Bowl QBs don't need pundits or fans to say anything, they perform the way they're supposed to.

I sure did, something like 26 INT's. You knew he had 'it' though, the guy still threw 20+ TD's his rookie season.
Don't compare Henne to Peyton (or Eli for that matter). We're talking about big-time QB's coming out of college.
i did,and now where is he...oh yeah,he's playing in some game that's on right now...what's it called again? that's right...the Super Bowl going for his 2nd ring...i believe in Henne,and after watching him play this past season,i believe we have our next franchise QB in him...

Eli??? Henne will be every bit he QB Eli is, and more. Henne has all the skills, and with a little experience will be a top QB. Get over it.
Henne's 2nd season compared to Brees' 2nd season (both 2nd round picks):
Comp PCT:
Henne: 60.8
Brees: 60.8
YDS per Pass:
Henne: 6.4
Brees: 6.2
TD/INT:
Henne: 12/14
Brees: 17/16
RATING:
Henne: 75.2
Brees: 76.9
Brees has a slight advantage in the TD/INT ratio. Other than that, the stats of the two are pretty similar. Not saying that Henne will be as good as Brees is now but at least there's hope......
and the fact that Henne was a 4 year starter in a pro style offense in college means nothing to you?...to me it means he has the drive,the will,the determination,the heart,the talent,and the desire to succeed and be DAMN GOOD and a leader at what he does...and for us,that means we're in great shape at our QB position with him at the helm...
