Watching sporstcenters bottom line and looking online I noticed that more and more first round picks are inking deals with there respective teams. I think I just saw that the 8th pick signed. When will our deal get done with Ginn. We need him in there starting to mesh with the team. What do you guys/girls think. Today, tommorow, this weekend, next week, or a holdout throughout camp???

As more of the earlier picks sign, the closer Ginn will be to signing. It's kinda a domino effect. Let's hope it's soon.

I dont know what to expect. I think he's gonna miss some of training camp, but I do not expect Wayne to sit him at all. firstly because of his agent and his history of TC holdouts and because unfortunately we have had them 2 years in a row.

At this point im fearing that he's waitin for Calvin Johnsons contract to be signed. That way he and his agent can ask for more money. They'll just say "Well Ted Ginn was the 2nd receiver taken, so he deserves a little less then the first one got"

According to John Clayton the money and bonuses have already been agreed upon. The only thing left is the escalators. I doubt that Calvin Johnson's contract has much to do with that. Being that the #8 signed I feel Ginn's deal will get done real soon.

I really hope/believe it will be done tomorrow so he wont miss alot of camp!

ginn will be sign within next couple of day no later than monday because everybody else is sign quick... some of these thing are teams fault

Normally i'd agree. but that was two days ago. Have they really spent two days arguing over excalators?

Oh God! If he sat out all of training camp, I wouldn't blame Wayne for benching him the whole year. Make an example out of him.

I am starting to think it may be a long holdout. I bet they had aggreed on a 6 year deal, but since the 8 pick signed for 5 years Ginns agent probably now wants a 5 year deal. If that is the case it could drag out for some time.

I see Ginn signing tommorrow. The domino effect has slowly started and i hope he is there soon because he has alot to work on.

I don't see it being a "holdout", I'm betting it will be done in the A.M. Really, who wins holding out? Wayne will be pissed. Cam will be pissed. Even if Wayne doesn't stick by his ultimatum I can see a good bit of damage done between Cam and Ginn and Ginn might find it awfully hard to reach those incentive clauses with a pissed of Head Coach. And if Wayne does sit Ginn he will never reach his incentive clauses.

What will be interesting is who breaks! I'm sure we wont hear the truth about it al though.

And don't blame any of this on Ginns agent, his job is to get Ginn the best deal...doesn't mean its a "fair" deal to the Dolphins and Ginn accept the offer at anytime (i.e. the agent does work for Ginn)
