havent heard it mentioned once yet. they just assume that since baltimore owns the tiebreaker over us that we need them to lose for us to get in.

I know and I bought into it.

I basically felt we were out, unless Baltimore lost one.

Damn those sorry ass Lions.

ESPN is saving that storyline for when it seems most likely to occur at the last minute or they are purposely withholding that scenario to refrain from giving us any positive publicity.

My guess is the latter.

The same way the Patriots lost. Instead of saying "The Dolphins beat the Patriots in a shocker!"

How do we get in without the ravens losing exactly? I'm serious, I don't get it.

The media is STUPID and LAZY. Did I mention also that the media is stupid and lazy?

We win out, Ravens win out and beat the Bengals in the final week, that's leaves us in a 3-way tie. Ravens win tiebreaker over the Bengals for AFC North division and get the automatic bid. Then we win tiebreaker over the Bengals for the final wild card.

Maralieus- The Ravens and Cincy play each other last game. If we win out we are 10-6. If Baltimore wins out, they are 10-6 and Div champs, and Cincy goes to 10-6 or 9-7. Either way, we beat them for Wildcard since we beat them earlier in the year.

If however, Cincy beats Ravens, then Ravens finish 9-7and we beat THEM for Wildcard. If Cincy and Balt tie, then the best at least one of them will finish is 9-6-1, and Miami at 10-6 would get in.

I know. ESPN actually said this morning that the Dolphins "need some help" to get in. I was like really? Really? They get paid for this?

I was asking the same thing, they don't realize that we own a tiebreaker with the Bengals I guess. Omar Kelly even gets it. how slow do you have to be. at least James Walker at espn understands but hes just a writer

Technically, right now, the Ravens own the 6th seed because they own the tie breaker. I've heard it mentioned already though that if Miami wins out they're in and that we control our own destiny due to the Ravens and Cincy playing in the last game. Regardless we win the last two and we're in...we don't have to rely on anyone to help us out.

yep because the best the Ravens can finish is 10-6 while the Bengals can finish 11-5. If both win this week or both lose one is going home after their week 17 game.

Now the thing that will be interesting is if we beat Buffalo and the Ravens beat the Pats. People will talk about the scenario that the Pats could miss the playoffs entirely
