That says a lot about the running game.

I understand Miami has gone against two of the top teams in the NFL, but if you can't convert short yardage runs, you just aren't going to win much in this league. Fourth and inches...have to make those. Not too many qb's can carry a team with a below average running attack. Maybe Dan Marino, but even then the team wasn't winning championships.

Again, two games isn't enough to judge a season but Miami's running game looks like a huge weakness so far. Enough so that running back may now top the list of needs over linebackers, a young defensive end...etc. Of course, guards who can move the line of scrimmage wouldn't be such a bad idea.

nobody saw this coming

I was surprised with what I saw in Drake running. Let him and Pead run more, forget Foster.

Might as well let Pead get some snaps, they kept him for a reason one would assume, however the line is really not creating much running lanes.

I want to see more of Drake as well. I'm certainly not trying to be a negative monger, but I've always believed in a strong running game and want to see that again in Miami.

Since TRANIE sux at Qb. Let him play RB, since he is so successful at it.

very insightful stuff . Thanks for sharing Tom. Who else would like to say a few words during this weeks meeting .....

This right here... Can a Monday morning qb show me an example where the rb just flat out missed the open seam, alley or canalley if you will...... The line is not getting the job done as run blockers.... 4 Lts on one line will usually produce those results. But let's bash alll of our rbs who 9/10 have to break a tackle behind the line to even gain a yard

Ok crawl back under the hole you came from.... Yes let RT play running back... We have an all pro in matt Moore backing him up

you beat me to it bucket. 4 left tackles. we have no big nasties on the inside. maybe if steen gets moved to guard when pouncy comes back we might see something. we're a finesse line. maybe we are too worried about bringing another player like cogs back into Miami. heck I don't think there are too many of those type players left anyways. I didn't get to see any of last weeks game but I don't think we have anyone on the OLine who seems like they are gonna get pissed if our RB is abused or takes a little bit of a late hit. heck tannehill is still getting hit anyways, why not try to find a couple of big road graders in the middle that are decent pass blockers but love attacking and hitting the defense instead of playing pattycake in pass blocking

When you have below average RB's, it's I-formation with double TE's or a TE and FB then run down hill. It can be done even a ZBS and finesse oline

It's a question of want too and does the HC have enough nads to challenge his players
