That says a lot about the running game.
I understand Miami has gone against two of the top teams in the NFL, but if you can't convert short yardage runs, you just aren't going to win much in this league. Fourth and inches...have to make those. Not too many qb's can carry a team with a below average running attack. Maybe Dan Marino, but even then the team wasn't winning championships.
Again, two games isn't enough to judge a season but Miami's running game looks like a huge weakness so far. Enough so that running back may now top the list of needs over linebackers, a young defensive end...etc. Of course, guards who can move the line of scrimmage wouldn't be such a bad idea.
