where are all the joey porter haters now as i said yesturday before the game this guy can talk all he wants cuz he can back it up and did he big time 3 sacks.bunch of people on here blasting him like you were not even a dolphins fan you just make me sick i hate people who sit there and bash your own players your not even die-hard fans why don't you go crawl under a rock cuz you know who you are and im sure you feel very stupid!!!!! joey porter is the man already 4 sacks onto a pro-bowl year baby wooooooooo!!!!!!!!!:up:
 
I've said it, right now you won't find a better linebacker in the NFL than Joey Porter. But it doesn't give him the right to go running his mouth week in and week out. There's no sense in it. You're on a professional level. Act like it. Come out on Sunday and make plays. Don't run your mouth. I don't need to hear about you on Wednesday. I need to hear about you on Monday morning in the Miami Herald. Zach Thomas never ran his mouth before stepping on the field. Zach is a classy guy. This is a classy organization and the players should represent that. There's no need in trash talking. Do your talking on the field.

i see where your coming from and i loved zack but he always kept to hiself joey is more outspoken and will tell you how he feels and is not scared of saying anything two diffrent personalities all together.im all for getting everyone fired up zack and jt were always lead by example which im fine with that joey does also but he likes to get in the oppents face and i love that i think this team needs that alot of people said we were soft and i think it was the kind of personalties we had on this team we needed a change..
 
I for one love guys who talk. Better said, I love guy who talk & back it up. I was one who was critical of Joey for opening his mouth for what I believe was the third time as a member of the Dolphins. I felt that if you're 1-17 w/ a club maybe, you should just be quiet. Good for him for backing it up. As far as feeling stupid? Heading into the game the odds weren't in his favor. Porter had not shown much as a Dolphin. The Steelers are one of the smartest franchises in the league. They don't normally let go of good players. I think Joey still has a long way to go to live up to his contract status. But, he gets props for talking the talk & walking the walk. I hope we see more of that. Preferably, the latter.

This is really the first time Joey ahs lived up to his paycheck. He walked the walk and I give him his due. But I understand why people were scepticle.
 
It's ok to be confident and believe in yourself and your abilities and to have faith in your teammates. It's ok to talk about what you need to do to come out on Sunday and execute and do what it takes to win. But there's really no sense in blatantly disrespecting another player. It's just not very professional. It's bush league. Kids do that. Joey Porter is a great player but he's a gutterball when it comes to speaking.
 
i never said anything about joey (good or bad), but he does need to shut his mouth, we pay him a ton of money and he did NOTHING last season. he deserves what he gets......im sure you already forgot the 2 times he guaranteed victory last year, only to not show and do anything at those games. or how about the time he punked cam out on the flight home. im finally glad he is doing good, but that doesnt excuse the fact the he has done little in 2 seasons

It's not that i hate Joey Porter the player

It's that i hate his personality. I really don't like any player who talks trash, especially someone who does it as much as Joey Porter. Not when it's clear that, despite his sensational game sunday, he's really not an elite linebacker anymore. He's failed to show up a lot more than he has shown up, and he's being paid way too much money for what he is.
 
If nicknaming him SQUEAKY qualifies me as a hater then I'm here too.

I want to know if all you people with man crushes on him are going to show up when i call you all out in the same romper room fashoin, if he has a bad game?

Really? Hmm I think from anyone with common sense they could see he was fairly dominate the last quater of the season or half when he got usedto playing in a retarded defense and in a position he never played.
 
So show up for one game and u earn your paycheck. I would love to have some people on this board as my employer.

Until this piece of garbage shows up consistently in games without the mouth....I hate him like I always have.

His stock should be high now from his one game performance.....now put this ****er out of my misery and trade his *** to San Diego.....

JOEY PORTER hasn't dominated a ****ing thing!

Just because he started last season sucking *** and improved to fairly average by the end of the season doesn't mean he was fairly dominant...

If Joey Porter and Zach Thomas are "dominant" and "elite level".....THEN WHAT THE **** IS PATRICK WILLIS???????????????
