FWIW, PFF had Miami better in week #1 on O- overall, passing, run, pass block, run block, and penalty. On D- overall, run, pass rush, cover, and penalty. Buff was .3 ahead on ST's.

To break it down on opinion of the positions as to if the Bills re better.

Offense

QB- No

RB- ?

TE- No

WR- No

OL- Not sure but, leaning to No.

Defense

DL-Close call

LB- ?

Safety- ?

Opinions on our "Nightmare?"

I think our DL is a toss up

As long as Randy Starks isn't playing in a boot :tumbleweed:

But my biggest fear is that none of that matters if your RBs get 5 TDs because our LBs are all dead.

Dolphins have a solid DL, but I think Buffalo's D-Line is the best in the NFL.

Sacks
Bills: 2nd
Dolphins: 11th

QB Hits
Bills: 4th
Dolphins: 7th

Tackles
Bills: 1st
Dolphins: 7th

Just my opinion though.

I have to agree with the Bill's fan as far as their D-line vs our D-line. The Bill's do have one of the best, if not the best D-line in football. And It will be a huge challenge for our O-line to keep them at bay come Sunday. If we can accomplish this, and our Lb's play a decent game we should be able to win this game!

I don't really care what PFF has to say in the situation, they also had Ryan Tannehill and Eli Manning as top 5 QBs in week 1.

Offense:

QB: MIA

RB: Toss up

TE: BUF

WR: Toss Up (Robert Woods is solid, Mike Williams is a real nice WR 3, but Grimes will put Watkins in his place)

OL: Toss Up

Defense:

DL: BUF (We probably have the better edge rusher in Wake, but the overall Dline of the Bills on the edge and the interior is crazy good. Though, if our Dline plays like they did week 1, it'd be hard for the Bills to be any better than that.)

LB: BUF

Safety: MIA

CB: MIA

I think the bills have a nasty d period. with kiko out im not worried to much about the lbs, but the secondary and dl are good. plus its the bills and phins, if we went undefeated 10 straight years and th bills didn't win one for 10 straight they would still give us fits. imo the game is going to be different than last year bc we have upgraded the line not to mention an oc that has atleast half a brain

QB- Miami
RB- Buffalo
WR-Mia
TE-Mia
OL-even

DL-Buf
LB-Buf
DBs-Mia

I actually think both teams are fairly similar. Young coaches and QBs looking to prove themselves, Ds that can get after QBs,...

Sacks
Bills: 2nd
Dolphins: 11th

QB Hits
Bills: 4th
Dolphins: 7th

Tackles
Bills: 1st
Dolphins: 7th

Just my opinion though.

How many of those numbers came against our line last year?

No time to break down DL only but as a team Buff got 64 sacks, 54 hits, and 208 hurries. Miami had 46 sacks, 69 hits, and 216 hurries. For me it's a very close call on the DL with a healthy Wake and Mitchell, and the same overall.

Nice to live in the past but lets look at week one from this year. Would you be interested in comparing DLs in their week one outings? SI had the pats OL rated as the best in the league http://www.si.com/nfl/2014/07/28/best-offensive-lines, while the bears were not in the top 10. Yet I would guess without looking we had more pressure vs the pats than the bills had vs the bears.
This is a different year than last year and although I would have never believed it at the time, I would have to say that Mitchell is an upgrade over Big Paul. You are only as good as you play but as of right now I would consider our OL/DL roughly a wash with the bills OL/DL (when both are healthy). Guess we will know more after Sunday.
On the other hand there is no way I would consider our LBs even. Bills win that one hands down, even before all the injuries.

Mankins was included in that ranking by one man. we'll see in the coming weeks how good those OLs are.
