Does anybody know whatever became of the Robbie family after the sale of the team?

I found an article on Tim Robbie from 1998, he had recently opened a bar/resturant in Weston, it closed around 2002. He also is a radio co-host on Prime Sports Network. Both of these ventures seem strange for a former owner/president of the Dolphins.

Joe's grandson worked for me at MCAS Cherry Point, NC back in the early 90's. He was a nice young man who joined the USMC to escape the family. From what he let out there was a lot of fighting over his grandfather's estate. I hope the best for him as he was a nice young man. Other than that, I have heard nothing about the family. I was disappointed that the stadium name was changed. For me, Joe Robbie Stadium was equivalent in meaning when I heard "The Big House" (Michigan) or "The Joe" (Detroit Red Wings).

This on Tim Robbie,

The Sideline Review is hosted by Greg DePalma and the former President of the Miami Dolphins, Tim Robbie. Greg & Tim will breakdown and analyze each NFL game during the season.

Tim Robbie’s career in sports spans several decades. Among the highlights are his term as General Manager of the Fort Lauderdale Strikers (1979-83) during the height of the North American Soccer League’s popularity, and as President of the Miami Dolphins (1990-1994) after several years with the club in other high level positions.
Robbie brings a wealth of NFL knowledge to the Prime Sports Network team. His family, under patriarch Joe Robbie, founded the Dolphins and maintained ownership of one of the League’s most successful franchises from their inaugural season in 1966 until 1994. Tim was a mainstay with the Dolphins organization for virtually the entire time, along with his foray into professional soccer from 1978-87.

Tim has been involved in radio broadcasting for the past nine years, co-hosting NFL programs with former Dolphins Jim Kiick and Jim Jensen and of course, Prime Sports Network’s Greg DePalma.
