:fire: Okay we started off kinda slow in FA. Then BOOOM. Here comes Joey Porter. You're fired up, that's a big signing right. But then you notice people like Welker, Mare, Mcmiacheal...they're leaving? Why? Wellt hat's okay because we just signed Porter! And now maybe Stallworth. Yeah go Cam and Randy. Now it's been what almost a week an a half since Porter was signed and what have we gotten? Where's that offensive push we need through FA. Okay we picked up a Fullback, seems like a decent pickup. But c'mon, it seems like they slacked off. I hope they aren't counting on the draft because it's soo hit miss, with even getting your picks, with how they are going to turn out in the NFL, how long will it take for them to develop, will they even develop. I don't know, but it seems like a lot of cap room has been cleared and we're just like slowing down. Anyone else feel the same?

OooooooooKay and..=====what's out there to get..

Were cleaning up our cap situation not just for this years FA but for the next couple of years. They aren't going crazy in FA but were making a splash by signing players that can help us compete instantly.

were fine. we actually have draft picks to work with...
dont over pay... drop the trash.. and move forward...

You don't get yourself back into cap trouble shortly after being in it by signing mediocre players for the sake of signing a body. We have aquired draft picks and are gaining cap room and fixing this thing the right way.

i didn't read the whole paragraph, but heres what i have to say

cam wants to instutionalize an offensive system that can score in games period. the main focus being the run game. we are 1-2 lineman away from having a good line. if we draft levi brown + a guard/center hadnot can move to a guard spot and play guard and have a young line.

assuming cpep will come back strong(which is what all of us around here would wish for) he thinks he will have chemistry with the guys already on the team besides the tight end martin. with cpepp still on the team it gives stanton(which i assume we will take with the early second round pick) anywhere from a year to three years to develope. Cam knows what he is doing, he isn't the first offensive minded coach in franchise history for nothing. we will leave the D how it is and let capers coach the D and have cam gel the offense into something that can actually score. Cam and Meuller believe this team isn't far away from being a top tier team, and thru the draft i believe that is possible.

Well i don't know where you are at but the Dolphins are in Davie. :D

Daunte,Chambers,Booker,Williams; these guys aren't the future. If we were wise we would trade them NOW while they have a little value, because there is a good chance they lose all value by next year, and we won't get anything for any of them.

I'd rather get a little this year than nothing next year.

Mueller does not plan on missing in the draft. He plans on hitting on the first five picks. Look for 2 linemen (one more maybe in 6th round), a QB, TE, and a WR, and oh, safety with the first pick in the draft. And a CB.

Where are we at? We're lost. I don't think this team will be looking at the playoffs for at least two years.

No hope man, they will do just fine and anyway, we need younger players really bad and that is what Cam and Randy are doing. Spend a little money on alot of talent and not a lot of money on the talent of one man.

Try some decaff, it's only been 6 days since we signed Porter.

There's no need to sign a FA just because he's available. Most of whom are available are older players who have been injured or are not what Cam, Mueller and Houck are looking for.
