Guys, I like all of you, am deeply depressed today.

Is our team really this bad? I think it is. Does the blame lay with the players? NFL players are the best football players, there are. There are no really bad players, just bad coaching and bad systems. Are the coaches to blame? The play calling through three weeks has been horrendous. I don`t think Chad has a completion average of 6 yards per completion, and we don`t stretch the field at all.

We have to see what we have in Henne for the rest of the year. If he doesn`t look good then are there any qb`s in the Matt Ryan mould in next years draft? I`d love Brandon Spikes at middle linebacker, but only if Henne works out. Let`s play Patrick Turner and see what he has. Let`s sign Harrison to help evaluate Henne.

With our schedule this season we have every chance of picking in the top three come April 2010.

How far away are we from really competing and challenging? I thought next year would be the year, I`m now thinking 2011, 2012!!!!

We go back to South Florida and await the arrival of the Buffalo Bills. 0-4 is a real possiblity, the Bills are a better team at this point.

Lets hope Henne(like i hope) is the real deal or else top 5 pick is what we're lookin at next year.

The play calling has been terrible. At least with Henne in yesterday we tried to throw the ball - generally there is just too much reliance on the running game and the wild cat (which isn't so wild this year, as everyone expect us to do it).

The Bills will be a tough test I can't see us winning, with a horrendous schedule ahead of us I think we could well be looking at a top three pick.

So what's your guess for the top 5 draft pick then???

it goes both ways. the play calling looks bad when guys don't execute and make a play. someone throws a screen pass and ronnie jukes 3 guys and it goes for 65 and a score and you're telling me it was a great play call.

what I can say now is that with henne in, we really need to start opening the pass beyond 20 yards. no excuse now about the lack of arm strength and the other BS. the offense will have an entire week of practice with henne and they have to show better timing and he needs to push the ball down the field. if ginn isn't the answer, lets get turner, hartline or camarillo (somebody!) running long routes.

henne has to have a meeting with his WR's and find a guy he likes and can make plays with. he has a decent o-line and a solid running game. all we need a someone to step up at the WR position and make a couple plays a game.

In your sig: Is Henne handing the ball of to Pennington? What the kind of lame *** throwing motion is that. Looks like a karate chop or something.

Marinos throwing motion was often questioned as well buddy. Give Henne a chance, lets see what he's got. Not a 4 year starter at Michigan for nothing...

Where do we go from here? Hopefully up because we can't go down much more. That being said week 4 will be unpredictable to say the least. If Henne can take the team down the field early the team might rally around him and actually start playing. That's a big "IF", but weirder things have happened. The playcalling HAS to improve though, too predictable

ARE YOU INSANE!!!!!!!!

Marino's release was practically perfect! His throwing motion was NEVER questioned and is in fact praised and studied by the masses. Never dropped his elbow, the point of the ball was always facing downfield, and he threw it as close to his earhole as possible. Extremely quick, accurate and near perfect.

your wrong. simple as that. his release was spectacular but yes his throwing motion was questioned. he had a somewhat "side armed delivery".

I like the idea of seeing what Turner can do, also Cam Wake needs to get plenty of playing time....what's the worst thing that can happen we're 0-3!

My take on where we go from here.

We see what Henne's got for the next 13 games. This is not a playoff team and we should all understand and realize that. The secondary needs help, specifically the corners with a year of NFL experience and 1 new free safety (Gibril was a very bad signing, the guy is a Strong Safety and he cannot cover).

With that being said, I saw some favorable aspects of yesterday's game. First of all, Chad Henne has a cannon, which we all somewhat knew, it's just nice to see a QB with an arm in a real game. Henne threw a couple of off line balls to Ginn that regardless SHOULD have been caught by Ginn (this guy is frustrating me so much). The pass to Bess was obviously a mistake and he has to get experience to check off that throw.

So his accuracy could use some polishing and his decision making needs to improve, but the guy has the tangibles. It was nice to see a QB evade a couple of rushers as well. I realize now that Penny is such a statue back there. With that being said, the errant pick 6 by Henne makes you realize how much more experienced Penny is. This is going to be a long 13 weeks, but we HAVE to see what we have in Henne so we know whether or not to draft a QB next year. Really hope we don't have to draft a QB b/c it would be nice to fill another hole with a Top 5 pick next year (would love to get a MLB or STUD safety)....Safety is such a need for us right now. Get Gibril Wilson out of this lineup.
