Someone just made a thread about the ratings he gives all of our players. I would like to focus on one guy and the is Chris Chambers. As you can tell Im a big Chambers fan.

So the question is, where do you all think CHambers stacks up in the NFL? I personally think he is around top 10 in the league. HE is easily the best in our division. Recievers that i think are as good as him or better are...

Hines Ward, Chad Johnson, Marvin Harrison, Randy Moss, Terrel Owens, Santana Moss, Steve Smith, Joe Horn and Torry Holt. Others who are close are Jimmy Smith, Rod Smith, Joey Galloway and Darrel Jackson but i think hes better then those 4.

I would post some stats but you guys know what all these players are capable of. So that put Chambers exactly at 10. DO you think he is better then any of these guys or are any other WRs better then him that i didnt mention.

Let me know wat you think? Keep in mind who Chris' QBs have been over the years.

right now he is better than joe horn ,in my opinion ,so i think he is the 9th best

Better than chambers

Ward
C Johnson
Harrison
R. Moss
S. Moss
TO
Horn
S Smith
Holt
Boldin
Fitzgerald
Jevon Walker

on par with (or at least debateable if you root for that team)

D Jackson
Galloway
R Smith
L Evans
A Johnson
R Wayne
Moose
D Driver
Burress
D Bennett

Id say top 15

Lets be honest here. If Chambers was to knock off the DUMB drops, you wouldn't have Boldin, S Moss, Horn, Fitgerald above him. Some of the ones you have on PAR with him are ridiculous.

Out of all the players you listed, only one can make the same type of eye catching plays, Randy Moss. Who is much better than Chambers, but was hurt last year.

Chad Johnson

Steve Smith(assuming this year wasnt a fluke)
Marvin Harrison
Chris Chambers
Boldin
Hines Ward

Randy Moss is garbage in my opinion. He is fast as hell but is the WORST route running WR I have ever seen in my life. What did he do in Minnesota? Ran fly routes and streaks down the sideline, which he couldn't do in Oakland because he was injured and since he can't run routes had 0 impact for that team. Santana Moss...Come on now. Harrison is obvious, Chad is a great WR, Horn never really stood out as amazing to me, solid but never amazing.

No way. Randy is the biggest Red Zone threat the game has ever seen. Loom at his TD #s!
All the Vikings used to do was just throw a quick fade to Moss once they got inside the 10. He would out-jump the Jolly Green Giant.

You obviously havnt seen some of the unbelievable catches Fitzgerald made last year. Tons of one handers. Hell he made a crazy catch in the Pro Bowl. That guy is the real deal. And I'm sorry but you can't compare Boldins production to Chambers.

I don't know how you can argue with S Moss with the season he had last year and with no other good receiver on that team.

I guarantee if you rooted for the on par list teams, you could make a very good case for any of those guys.

You also have to factor in that he quites on his team just about every other game and cost his QB a lot of INTs but not trying to break up bad balls. He is a terrible teammate

I think Galloway is underrated, a consistent veteran player. I was personally amazed with the numbers he put up last year, not expecting him to be such a force and it is a SIN he didn't make the pro bowl.

btw, living here in AZ i have seen that boldin and fitzgerald are both AMAZING deep threats/running after the catch guys. You remember that Boldin run after he was practically wrapped up and stopped dead in his tracks!?

I have Super-Fan and watch almost every game in the half hour version during the week after. I did happen to see some of his catches. He doesn't have the crazy body control or leaping ability Chambers has. Chambers has the second best vertical in the entire NFL.

You are factoring in his DUMP DROPS which annoyed everyone last year, including myself. Most of Sanata Moss big plays that I seen last year, he was pretty much wide open because of his speed. Its the first season he played at that level. It's not something he does year in and year out. Chambers is a bigger RED ZONE threat than S Moss and a bigger threat making those over the middle catches.

Still you have to many guys ON PAR with him. Some of the guys you mentioned didn't even play last season.

Lets take a look at some of the WR you listed that were BETTER or ON PAR with Chambers.

C Johnson- Chad has Carson Palmer throwing him the Football. The Bengals have a very good O line and he has a top #2 WR on the other side of him. Go look at Chad Johnson career numbers vs Chambers, you would be VERY SURPRISED!

Harrison- Take a look at who is throwing him the Football and the many talented WR he has around him. I wouln't trade Harrison for Chambers.
R. Moss- Moss was hurt last season. People forget just how GREAT this guy is. He is the BEST WR in the NFL when he is heatlhy. Nobody is as dangerous.
S. Moss- Had a breakout year. He is one of the fastest WR in the NFL. He isnt the red zone or short yardage threat Chambers is. Once again, I would not trade Chambers for S Moss.
TO He can do it all. Second best WR IMO. He can block, has speed, great hands and catches everything you throw to him. Imagine if he actually had a decent threat on the other side of him? Chambers?
Horn- His best years look to be behind him now. I would keep Chris over him

S Smith One of the most underrated WR in all of Football. He gets open all the time. Yes, Steve Smith is better than Chris.
Holt ANother Great WR, Better than Chris.

Boldin-Tie with Chambers

Fitzgerald Another Tie they do have each other

Jevon Walker Had had Favre throwing him the ball with one of the best O line in the NFL. TIE STILL

on par with (or at least debateable if you root for that team)
D Jackson- NO
Galloway- This guy should be moved up above. Galloway has become a Great WR in the NFL. He reminds me of Holt.
R Smith-Better Days are behind him. He isnt onpar with Chris.
L Evans-Come on here.
A Johnson Has all the talent in the world, but what has he done?
R Wayne I wouldn't say on par.
Moose No
D Driver No
Burress- He could be on par with Chambers.
D Bennett Why even have him, Driver, Evans and Moose on here? Johnson as well, come on man.

Id say top 15

Same argument for Chambers.

I have no idea why you would say Chambers is a bigger red zone threat.
And I think you just made up the 2nd biggest vertical stat for Chambers. Do you have data on that?

And just because they didnt play last season because they were hurt, doesnt mean they are not better.
