What is Harrington's QB rating, and where does it rank among all NFL QBs?

:dolphins::dolphins::dolphins:

25th in yards(good considering that he did not start the first couple of games)

he is not even in the top 32 passer rating with 67.5

7 tds and that makes him 30th in the league

who cares. its such a worthless stat. At least use the football outsiders stats. Even though flawed they are slightly more revealing

or if you want to go with his PAR you could say

28. Joey Harrington

In front of Cleo Lemon.
That's pretty much all that matters at this point.

I'm not real concerned about passer rating. It is somewhat of a flawed stat...Ben Roethlisberger's passer rating is 75.8, about 8 points higher, yet he has turned the ball over 18 times (17 INT, one fumble) in 9 games. That wanton carelessness is one of the reasons his team is losing.

Observationally, Joey was a good pickup this year. He has played well enough to give us a chance to win. He is not great or even really "good" at this point, but he has played better the last two weeks and seems to be enjoying himself at times. He's getting more comfortable...he just needs to keep his head in the game.

Daunte is still this team's future. I do, however, find it amusing that the o-line decided to show up after he got hurt. Sure, his lack of mobility was part of the 21 sacks, but doesn't anybody else find it funny that we don't see as many opponents in the backfield now and Randy McMichael isn't being forced to stay in and block? I almost think Daunte might have been more effective if the o-line had played as it is doing now (but probably still not great).

Passer rating means absolutely nothing in terms of a QB's production.....

Guys like QB S. Rosenfels / QB K. Boller are ranked 2nd / 8th in the NFL for crying out loud. Sitting on the bench has obviously done wonders for them this year....:lol:

PHINZ RULE!!!

right now...after the vikings game....his rating is 67.5 which means...i will say it again.... he is not even in the top 32 of qb passer rating

But in the last three weeks his QB rating has been 19th, 21st and 18th. So what. Its such a bad stat. TDs and INTS are vastly overrated in it

Yeah because in reality, completing passes, gaining more yards per pass than other QBs, throwing touchdowns, and not throwing interceptions...I mean that's really all irrelevant. The only thing that matters is the record. That's why Dan Marino is overrated. :rolleyes2
