Where does Henne rank as a starting QB in this league?

I understand you cant win in this league without a QB.. so I'm sitting here watching preseason highlights and thinking who is actually worse than Henne out of all the starters (although it seems like there are a bunch of backups better than Henne too)

Is David Garrard better than Henne- Yea
Tarvaris Jackson?- Hell no
Charlie Whitehurst- Nooo
Kyle Orton- Easy, yea
Jason Campbell- He's not exciting but I'd take him over Henne
Kevin Kolb- Prematurely yea but who really knows
Andy Dalton- Gotta say no for now
Colt McCoy- After tonight's performance, I'm gonna say McCoy gets the edge
Alex Smith- Nope
Colin Kaepernick- Potentially Yes, but no for now
Cam Newton- This is a hard one 'cause he could be the next Jamarcus Russel or the next Randal Cunningham. Id say yea, hes better than Henne just based off of raw talent
Ryan Fitzpatrick- Hell yea
Mark Sanchez- Unfortunately, yes grr
Sam Bradford- By a longshot
Matt Hasselback- Meh, yea.. Even Locker looked better than Henne ever has tonight
Donovan McNabb- Barely, but yea
Rex Grossman- Push.

So out of 32 teams, only the Seahawks, Bengals and 49ers have worse starting QBs then us? Luckily for the 'Hawks and 49ers, theyre in the 2 worst divisions in football and cant still get into the playoffs. As for the Bengals, I'd say theyre in the Luck sweepstakes but after getting Dalton in the 2nd, I dont think they can afford to go QB so early.
 
Id say Henne sits between 25 and 30 somewhere.
 
To really gauge the value and ranking of Henne right now, think of how many teams would currently make him their starter? Not many.

Henne isnt even better than alot of teams backups. he is a number 2 guy at best for his career. i know it was preseason but he looked terrible. i hope pat devlin gets his chance.
 
Thanks for your input guys. Man, this sucks lol we'll probably go 7-9 or 8-8 and not be bad enough to get a top rated qb plus whoever our new coach is gonna be wont wana move up in the draft to get one of the top qbs. its like a recycling of the same sh*t
 
Henne wouldn't even be a Top 10 backup quarterback if he was the backup for the Dolphins. That's how bad he is and I'm not even kidding.

The better question is "how many of the QB's on that list would you want to be Miami's starter instead of Henne?"

zero.

If your going to replace him, upgrade. Most of the fodder on that list is like comparing a 1000 sq.ft ranch to a 1600 sq.ft ranch. I want a 6000sq.ft pad on the water.
 
McNabb, Kolb, and Jackson are all better than Henne
 
Around 40th. There are at least eight backups who are better than Robocop.
