Where does Henne rank as a starting QB in this league?

Worse, is his NFL Value ... I'll bet it would be tough to get a 5th Rounder for Henne ... someone would give that for his experience for a backup, not on his talent.
 
Henne has to be somewhere between 22 and 32. Bottom line is that there are just too many QBs better than him. I just don't see Henne as a starter. Right now, he is because we don't have anyone better.

If your going to replace him, upgrade. Most of the fodder on that list is like comparing a 1000 sq.ft ranch to a 1600 sq.ft ranch. I want a 6000sq.ft pad on the water.

um what? I'd love to have Sam Bradford in Miami over Henne.
 
I dont think there are more than 1 or 2 that you could say Henne is definately better than. There are probably a handful that one could argue either way. Having said that, I feel there are numerous backups and a couple of 3rd stringers better than Henne. But, there are a handful of teams that roll out guys who should be 3rd stringers or sub par backups and call them their starter.

Travaris Jackson is terrible. Id have to say he is probably worse than Henne.
Grossman gets knocked too much. He isnt good by any means, but the guy did at least go to a SB as a starter. He is better than Henne, that I know.
Alex Smith while not good, is better than Henne
McNabb, while terrible and I cant stand his attitude, better than Henne.
I really cant say about Andy Dalton yet.
Whoever Carolina starts, is likely worse than Henne.
 
how about beck, he is in the running for starting qb with washington. henne is the best we have and we are gonna have to live and die by him,

bottom line, henne last year fell dramatically. its not just his stats, its his mechanics in the pocket. he stares his receivers down way too much, he makes real dumb decisions, and does not have good pocket awareness, things u look for in a qb.

until he proves he can bounce back, hes not going to be rated high. for someone like myself who was extremely high on him after his first year as starter in 2009 starting 13 games, i thought that despite throwing more ints than tds, we possibly had something.

hopefully he proves us all wrong this year, but right now, i dont know.

Would you agree that having a badge saying "master troll" kinda defeats the purpose of trolling? You don't want people to know your intentionally saying illogical fallacies... defeats the whole point.
 
Not when you're the master. Everyone else is just kinda running this stuff into the ground.

Henne sucks/Henne is fine isn't a troll job. People literally believe on or the other.

Totally agree. The better question would be how many teams would he be able to be 2nd string for. Maybe 10? That puts him at around 50th. I actually don't see upside which is what 2nd and 3rd stringers are supposed to have so maybe lower. Should not be in the league really. He is the most robotic QB I can remember. No football IQ. Just a shame you have wasted the last couple of years on him when you could be working on his replacement going into his second year or have a guy like Mallet, Dalton, Moore etc. playing for the future as first year dolphin QBs. Whole regime must pay the piper for this one. UNLESS....they wise up before the season starts and use Moore. I could see knocking on playoff door with even an average QB. Just need someone to keep D honest on the back end with Gates/Hartline and able to complete crossing routes to Bess and skinny post/quick slants to Marshall. Could really be a decent team.
