Its safe to say that despite the last decade, the rivalry is indeed back in full swing. Obviously for us this was one of the finer moments, but where does this game rank for rivalry's sake?

the jets monday night comeback and the marino fake spike game are still better. this probably tops the ricky game at home where he ran wild.

Its hard to really tell it was a bloody good game that is for sure. I loved the clock play with Marinio which makes it a classic. In reality with the Wildcat being so sucessful last night on Monday night it really makes it a classic game in a whole other light. What the rest of the NFL was writing off as a gimmick in terms of the wildcat last nights performance has written a new chapter in the NFL. Yes we ran wild against the colts a couple of weeks ago but we lost. Now in game that we were suppose to loose we kicked butt darn the refs flags and all. So taking that into consideration it really makes this game maybe the most important win over the Jets.

Of course I really enjoyed so many of those games against the jets especially when Marinio was airing it out. In many of those games we were considered the heavy favorites but the Jets matched us blow for blow and we lost some of those grudge matches. Thats for me what made last night so much sweeter. We could have not played better and with the Jets thinking they were just going to win just like I used to think we would just win and have us pull up the upset that is so sweet.

There were 2 very loud Jets fans sitting behind me last night really trying to rub it in and everytime the Jets folded they would leave the stands and then come back and it was so nice to see them just cursing to themselves instead of attemting to rub it in on the Dolphins fans.

It pains me to admit, but I still say that the Monday Night Meltdown is the greatest game played by these two teams.

It's going to remain to be so until we come back from as big a deficit in the fourth OR until we do a close to similar comeback in the playoffs or in a very late season game against them.

Is it safe to say the rivalry is "back"? I mean, the games have been much closer and meant more lately in the last two seasons.
