Where is Bill Parcells???

The last thing this team needs right now is distraction. I am wondering why Bill Parcells has not come out and disputed the "leaving due to ownership change" rumors that are out there. He owes it to this team and this fan base to come forward and let his intentions be known. It is my opinion he needs to negotiate at least a one year extension on that out and give this team another year. But where, oh where is Bill Parcells?

For a man who preaches loyalty, hard work and committment...he is leaving everyone dangling in the breeze.

This team could stand to get this off of their minds heading into such an important game. But not dealing with it he has made it an issue across every media outlet in the country.

i agree,he does need to say something on this...regardless of what he says,i do agree with you in that he needs to make a statement and put all this to rest once&for all....
 
He doesn't talk to the media. Remember is silence on the Taylor issue.
 
In my experience, in UK sport, acknowledging a rumour is confirming there is true backing behind it. I'm sure he is there to tell them to ignore it and get on with the game.
 
BP is basically a hired assassin. I would not be surprised if he bolts for another reclamation project. His work here is essentially done, and I'm not sure we even need him anymore. Ireland is firmly entrenched as is our coach.
 
I don't remember him saying much during the JT thing. I just think he wants to stay in the background.

I think it's more of a distraction to the fans then it is to the team. I really can't imagine any players are losing sleep over this.

Also consider this; What if he indeed is planning on leaving. Would you like him to pull a Nick Saban or would you prefer him to just stay silent until the post season is finished playing its self out.


Personally I feel that it was irresponible of whatever media source that have run this story. There is no evidence that Parcells has taken any actions to ward excercising that clause in his contract.

Is there any evidence that he does not like Ross or has spoken to other teams about a job? This is the press rumor mongering at their finest. I really dont blame Parcells for staying silent. Anything he says is feeding into what they want and only encourages them to do it again in the future.
 
Well I am one of those media conspiracy guys. I don't think it is a coincidence that ESPN ran this after we beat the NY media darling NY Jets and Brett Favre. The terms of the contract and the pending sale have been know for a long time. Why bring it up that day? Trying to bring us down.

I think Parcells needs to step up and take responsibility on this and make a decision.

Have you ever seen one of Bill Parcell's new's conferences??? He doesn't like talking to the media. Bill keeps things close to the vest and if he wanted to talk to anyone, it surely would not be the media or the fans for that matter.
 
No news is good news. He shouldn't give a press conference to say he is staying, thats like Sparano giving a press conference saying he is staying. Saban gave a ton of conferences saying he was staying and look at what that ******* did.
 
maybe parcells leaked the rumor so that the media wouldn't be focusing on the team, but on him ...lol
