Why doesnt the NFL put out a "complete history of..." for the phins
The colts and broncos are the latest in a series that includes the bears...giants...steelers...redskins...raiders and SEAHAWKS? wtf?

Any inside info as to if there is something in the works for our phins?
 
ive asked myself the same thing, i would buy the complet history of the phins dvd in a second...our franchise has one of the richest histories in the nfl and we def deserve a box set before the colts and seahawks do.
 
They're clearly going with what sells best to the casual fan. To us, the Dolphins are full of history and this would be an instant buy. To the casual fan, we haven't done squat in two decades and are boring as hell. When the Dolphins make some noise in the playoffs, you'll see a DVD. That's just the state of the NFL's marketing arm.
 
If you think about it, the strategy really doesn't make much sense. I imagine a lot of the lesser (in terms of interest) Dolphins fans have lost interest in this team and might not be buying much merchandise. A history DVD would be a great way of reviving the interest of those fans and getting them involved in the team, which is what the NFL should want. I understand why it isn't that way as I mentioned above, but the logic may or may not be flawed.
 
Miami is on the south eastern cost of Florida.

Let's take the optimistic position: the league doesn't want to issue a DVD that they'll just have to revise next year after Miami wins another Super Bowl. :)
