I dont see T.O. having trouble with any QB we might have in Miami. If he were to come here, my bet would be that he won't be able to exist on the same team as Chambers and McMichael. They have both spoken out against him. Of course TO has played on a team with other greats WRs before (Jerry Rice), but Jerry was always in the spotligth and TO hadnt developed his venomous ego yet. IF TO comes to Miami, I guarantee he wont be able to survive one season after what they said about him here. I know Ricky was bashed as well, but this is different, we're not talking about a guy that up and left his team, we're talking about a guy that actively bashes his teamates and points fingers in the lockeroom. At least Ricky wasn't in their face everyday to remind them of how selfish he was.

Well, more than likely, IF he comes here, things will start out ok. TO will be on his best behavior and so will CC and RM and others. They will try to make it work because he is a talent. Eventually, as has been the case everywhere he's been, it'll wear down and become an issue.

You can't compare RW case to TO's and heres why: TO has been a problem at SF, Baltimore and Philly. He has a proven track record of not being able to change his personality. Ricky, on the other hand, was not a problem here until he 'retired'. There is a possibility that some of the reasons he was lead to what he did was due to his bipolar illness. At any rate, RW has changed his behavior. He has regained his love of the game and the respect of his teammates. Nowhere has TO regained any respect from his teammates or former teammates.

These players talk to each other from different teams. I'm sure there is someone in our locker room that was a teammate of someone who is on the SF or Philly teams and they've talked about TO coming here amongst themselves and probably know more of the details of what went on than is in the press or on these forums... If CC or RM are talking out about TO, it's because they know more about the situation than what was in the press.

And besides, the one overriding feature of our team right now is that we don't have the level of QB play that we'll need to advance this team. TO won't be here with Gus as our QB...he won't have anyone to diss....

OMAR JACOBS IN ROUND 1????

if they bring T O down down here sooner or later he will start talking about ronnie brown because he is the man here! because with his ego he has got to be the only star on a team thats why he started bashing mcnabb 1:dolphins:

TO is TO. When things break down in the second year if we get him, at least I can say I told you so.

I think what T.O. needs is a QB that is not a big name in football so he won't have anyone to bump heads with. Give Owens a good QB, doesn't necessarily have to be a great one or a pro-bowler. I think Gus and T.O. would be able to co-exist just fine.

Gus isnt even close to being just good

hey....look wut happend wen garcia was with owens=pro bowl for garcia....
without owens hes a BACKUP behind JOEY HARRINGTON....
although i dont think gus will be our qb next year specially wont be good without linehan......i think we can take a mediocre qb and turn him great with T.O and CC and MArty And McMike......that would be one of the greatest recieving bunches.......we would be real rweal hard to beat....

He had a quarterback that wasn't a big name guy in San Francisco. Jeff Garcia is not nor was not a top notch quarterback.

The only situation TO will be happy in is one where he's the lone star on the team, where the coach caters to his every whim, where the offense is designed around him and him alone. Even then, he'll find something to gripe about.
