Philbin is a second year coach who "supposedly" has a VG relationship with Ireland on personnel moves. ne would think that he has had some say in many of this teams moves or, maybe not.

I have to think his input had a lot to do in the Marshall trade, getting rid of Dansby, Bush, and who knows what else on Long, Albert, VD, Smith, the OL where he is an expert, FA signings, and who we drafted.

Does he get a Free Ride or, is he responsible as well?

We know for a fact that he was the guy that ran Vontae Davis out of town. He resented the 'Player's council' and obviously thinks he is 'above' the players, like he is the parent and they are children.

I'm still hoping for the best but, have more questions than answers on Philpn.

The Players Council being run out of town look in hindsight to be a mistake. Who are the leaders on this team??? Sometimes you have to go with the leaders you have; not the ones you want. While I do like Philbin, he still has a lot to prove in the coming weeks.

Philbin is absolutely on board with the players they brought in and the ones the dismissed.

I'm more curious about Ross' involvement. He had some influence on the 1st round pick this year, and McKinnie doesn't seem like a Philbin or Ireland type, so Ross could be involved there as well.

McKinnie is the ANTI-Philbin to the degree of infinity. I'm thinking that Ross said that he wanted to take a shot to protect the team's future, and did not give a Frack on their character concerns.

I'm just guessing here that he may have said that if Mount McKinnie protects RT, that he would sponsor a yacht party with McK making up the guest list and entertainment. LOL

That players councel BS was a munity. I would have broke that up also only fasster

I agree dude. Miss Bush, did not like Long, but he is clearly missed this year. We would be a better team with those 2 Dudes on this years team plain and simple.
Philbins ego is costing us wins man.

I would welcome Bush (one of the hardest workers in the NFL and seemed like the ultimate Philbin guy) with open arms.

I was ripped last year during Hard Knocks when I stated that Joe was instrumental in roster decisions. It is now obvious that he is, but fans will blame the OC and GM long before Joe gets hell.

philbin is in the corner wishing he had stayed in green bay right now.
