The defense is lacking leadership. There wasn't anyone out there in the first 2 games leading by example. Wake gives great effort but the rest haven't shown me anything. I didn't think Chanin Crowder was anything more than an average linebacker but he showed fire and emotion and gave it all every play. The defense looked better with him in there. Who is going to step up?

Our defensive leaders are gone

Thats a point I haven't even thought about C. Crowder did have a fire about him, a edge that made him good.

Crowder wasn't ****. Get that through your head. If you still think Crowder and his 39 tackles are what this team is missing...you sir do not know **** about football.

Enough with Crowder. He was terrible.

I've seen Reshad Jones yell at other players in frustration which is a kind of hilariously hypocritical and inept leadership.

he's brought more leadership then K. Burnett so far i know that! And I've never said crowder is what we are MISSING, just a guy with some fire in him.

I guess you didn't get the point. The point wasn't that Crowder was good as a linebacker. I said I thought he wasn't anything more than average. The point was that he showed intensity and emotion which I feel is lacking right now. Next time read the whole post!

I can agree that jones is giving effort. If you watched the Patroit game, the only guy who hit anyone was Benny Sapp on the interception play and once on the tight end which he just bounced off anyway. everyone else played two-hand touch. What did Sapp get for his efforts? released...
