Where is the love for Daboll

All I'm sayin' is people seem to jumps the gun when we do bad and then tell people to chill out when we do good... And on top of it, those same people say the Jets and Pats are unbeatabble when they do what we are doing right now to bottom feeders... Something has got to give... All I'm sayin'

Well when teams go 14-2 and make playoffs or go back to back afc championships that tends to build hype while back to back 7-9 and chasing after a new coach that spurned us while keeping the same 7-9 coach tends not to build much hype. If we go out week 1 and beat new england Im pretty sure there will be much less negative on this board

dabolls o looks pretty solid...much better than last year...i still saw a dan henning like drive killing reverse call that was horrid but its the preseason...wanna get a lot of things on tape probably...hopefully those kinda things won't happen in the games that matter

but please daboll please stop running reggie bush inside so much...i want to see this kid play in at least 12 games this year...and that while exciting is a recipe for him to get hurt

If that reverse would've worked you would've said it was a great play. If Lydon Murtha wasn't beat like a drum on that play it could have been a good gain.

you think dabol will run the wildcat? d.thomas used to run it i hear...

so far, looks like we won't need it this year- prolly a good thing!

definately would be a positive to basically throw it out but we shall see.

My biggest fault with Henne tonight is that I didn't think he was showing he could make any of those throws he hasn't been able to before, but Daboll really has to be congratulated for going with a design that really seems to emphasize not only what Henne can do (and I've always admitted he can throw darts on a striaght line very well), but also what guys like Marshall and Bush can do. Daboll definitely seems like he knows how to use the strengths of our offense, and from what I read earlier in TC about Daboll's pseudo-WCO, I thought that Henne could actually have success in that.

Plus one for Daboll.

It wasn't running up the middle that was gong to kill Bush tonight. He was actually letting himself take the brunt of some big hits and actually being a little too physical. That can happen no matter if he's running inside or out, just whenever he is running in space.

We've had more big plays in the last two exibition games than we had ALL LAST YEAR. (seems like it)

Kudo's to the play calling.

I don't get the hate from people saying Carolina is terrible. THEY HAD THE 6TH RANKED D IN THE NFL LAST YEAR, and we put up 17 in the firs half. dlocks, Daboll has coordinated this offense to 2 preseason wins already one a come from behind from 17. I like the fact that he is on the field calling shots rather than being in some ball sweaty coach box. Also yea the Browns had back to back 30th ranked offensive years but they have absolutely zero talent there besides Hillis and look what Daboll did for him. Now that he is here he has weapons a la bestmode, Bush, and captain clutch Davone Bess (the best slot receiver in the game right now)...

carolina did not have the sixth ranked defense or even close. Also we wer 2-0 last year at this point in preseason with Dan henning. I also dont care about hearing about zero talent when they had three probowlers on that offense 2 on the line that opened holes for the pro bowl back. So u give daboll all the credit for hillis being a good back but he didnt develop his receivers at all. There were teams with less talent on offense that did much better than they did .

There's one thing a lot of ppl leave out of what took place last year. The TUNA was being pushed out, and that had to play a role in what took place last year. The TUNA was pushed out, and Ireland and Sprano had no choice but to retain Dan Henning as their OC. I have ZERO doubt, if the whole TUNA thing went down 6 month earlier, they would have found a different OC last year. There's no way it was a comfortable situation to have the TUNA bail like he did and his long time friend Henning remaining in such an important position.

why would thye have changed oc's before last season started . we were ranked middle of the road nfl the previous season. why if tuna was pushed out as u say would they have to keep henning. Tuna wanted out, i just wish he had took all his damn coaches with him(Nolan not included)

I like what I see but I will wait until the real games begin and see how he gameplans, attacks and how he calls plays when we are losing and winning....but mostly how he gameplans......Monday Night against the Pats will tell us a lot.....
