I can't help but see that while we have mentioned Lamar Miller a few times, the Steeler fans are overjoyed about having Chris Rainey.

The hell is this thread even about? Chris Rainey is garbage who's going to break the first NFL hit he takes.

Llamar Miller is just another guy with great potential that has a history of injuries. I am not expecting much out of him at RB this year. Bush and Slayton will be the starters and DT will be nursing another injury.
Miller will probably be used in special teams on returns and get an occasional carry.

Thread confused me but I think he's saying why aren't fans really excited about Lamar Miller being a Dolphin.

Reason: Reggie Bush had a breakout year so running back wasn't a big need. While Miller is a great addition, Dolphin fans would have more excited if a big time receiver would have been drafted.

I like escalators, they never break....they just become stairs.

Yea, just because he has ran the ball in the SEC and against 3 National Champs in LSU, Alabama and Auburn means nothing.

I'm just talking crazy.

11 rushes for 4 yards vs. that Alabama defense. Highly impressive. Rainey sucks. Nothing more than a tiny scatback who offers nothing outside of special teams and will probably be out of the league in a few years. At least Jeff Demps was smart enough to give up football for track.

I hope you're wrong but I am afraid you will be mostly spot on except I don't think we will keep Slayton.

Anytime the Dolphins take a Hurricane in the draft I take notice. I expect him to be given every chance to play. Returning punts or kicks would suit me just fine. The guy does have speed and was a very good player for the U.
