It was Ricky Williams first season as a Miami Dolphin, we travelled on Sunday night to Mile High Stadium, and off a dramatic kick by Olindo Mare we defeated the Broncos. I patiently waited for Tuesday so I could see the ESPN Power Rankings. Finally for the first time in the history of those power rankings we were the #1 team.

Sadly that win versus the Broncos cost us Jay Fiedler and Chris Chambers. We ended up losing the next game, and the next one....And sadly we have truly never recovered from that win. We are on a like a 4 year bad luck streak that has no equal.

I could list a ton of dumb defining moments since that loss. PI calls that lose games for us in the crunch, missed field goals that are very makeable, taunting flags, whatever it is we are always on the bad side.

Always the optimist, I am completely flattened by todays loss. I truly have nothing to look forward to after week 7, besides seeing some of our young players earn their stripes. Oh and I guess a few of our veterans playing to increase their trade value.

I still have faith in Saban, I don't really blame him as much as a lot of people on this site. Imagine where we would be if our players would execute properly and actually catch the ball.

Too many over-paid over-hyped players im afraid. We need to get rid of alot of these players. We cant catch and we cant get interceptions and make plays when the ball is there to be caught.
I hate our defensive backfield. I have done since we lost Surtain,Madison and Marion. We havnt replaced one of those players.
Its never really been right for many years now has it?

It all started going wrong when Don Shula retired. :(

Before that. It really all started going wrong when Shula's wife died. He got all sentimental and reflective after that and too loyal to his assistants to the point where he wouldn't fire them when they needed it.

The Miami Dolphins are now a dead organization. We no longer matter to the NFL. We are now grouped with the Arizona Cardinals, Detroit Lions and Houston Texans. We are now the second worst team in the NFL behind the raiders. And you now what if we played the raiders we would probably lose. This is indeed a sad day to be a fin fan.
