Whats up everybody? I was at the Phins game today...partying it up with the usual section when the Panthers started marching down the field.... every fan there was complaining...with their damn heads down...when BOOM (John Madden sound) Schulters comes up with the pick and all of a sudden they are yelling again...I think as a group Miami Dolphins fans have to pick it up...we need to become like the Steelers, Pats, Chiefs, and other great fans in this league...always supporting our team....please post and if you are a true Phins fan. tell me what u think about the fan support in miami
 
i was disappointed in the attendance there too. I live in New Jersey unfortunately, but if i was in Fla id go to every game! Its embarassing how empty the stands look. Dont the fans realize wanny is gone and we are headed in the right direction!!?
 
The game wasn't really looking that good at that point. I was shaking my head too thinking it was over. As did most of everyone here.
 
who cares if the game wasn't looking good...thats my point..get up and stnad up and CHANT for you team
 
I have never booed a team I like. I have never really understood that.
 
The stadium didnt look empty to me there were 72,000 something fans there, according to the jumbotron.
 
Well lets be honest here. Our defense has had a tendency to not make a critical stop when needed. AKA last week. So I can understand fans being a little sqirmish in the stomach in that scenario this week.

Before everyone jumps my *** I am not blaming the loss to the jets on the Defense.

But hey if you want to classify yourself as a better fan then the next guy then that is up to you I guess.
 
at any given time there are tons of people in the concourse area, getting food drinks or using the rest room...

What do I think of the fan support in Miami? To put it bluntly.......it sucks! When we have opposing fans coming in in fewer numbers and making as much if not more noise for their team in OUR HOUSE, then there is a serious problem. Phins fans are some of the most fickle in the league and they will turn on their team in a heartbeat......I've seen it too often. I'm sure that many on these boards will get very offended by these statements, but I just call it as I see it. If local fans here would be totally honest, they would have to agree.

Having said that, this season is sounding much better overall than it has since Marino retired. Of course, there is always room for improvement. If we expect out team to improve and compete for the title, we as fans need to improve and compete with the best crowds in the NFL. We should make teams want to hate coming in to play in our stadium (not just because the crappy turf).
 
i asked where the true dolphins fans are and im glad that the last three posts are true phins fans.....i hope south florida fans can realize how lucky we are to have a competitive football team ....and a team that will be good in the future
