psssss! where u guys at? haha of course no where to be found but im sure ull pop up sooner or later when the oline doesnt block again and of course ronnie will then be blamed u guys r jokes

He has certain things he does very well. In the Wildcat he's like a more explosive Tim Tebow.

I'd prefer an every down, standard set, instinctive workhorse back.

I'd prefer the Dolphins him give a decent amount of carries every week so the man can actually do what we drafted him to do.

I dont hate Brown at all, but i hate the way he hesitates in the backfield.

Ronnie brown is a great back esp. with wildcat, but icky is more skilled even with his age. I love them both esp when they work as well as they did yesterday.

i hate when we only run brown inside and dont use him to go on tosses or sweeps like we did in atl game.

this game showed his talent tho so happy he did good.

The biggest complaint I've heard about Ronnie is his hesitation or p***y footing around on some running plays. This exact same "complaint" is what lead to at least 3 of his longer runs last night. If he just hits the hole as some expect him to do on every rush attempt, then those particular plays don't develop the way they did. Is he too tentative sometimes? Yes, absolutely. But nobody says anything when Ricky is too aggressive and just runs into the pile for a 2 yard gain. The same thing that makes both backs great, also works to their detriment at times.

I'm not saying Ronnie is an elite back. We may never know because he is severely limited within the framework of the offense at times. I'm not even suggesting that he's top 5. What I think differentiates Ronnie from every other back in the NFL is that he is the most complete. Period. Ronnie is a better blocker than any FB (except for Kiick and even that's debatable) we've ever had. Yes, I said ever. There certainly isn't a better blocking running back in the league. He has terrific hands and is severely underutilized in the passing game. Then of course there's what we drafted him for, he's a great running back.

I think Ronnie is a top 5 back. He is the only stud we have on offense. If he becomes a free agent the teams will be fighting for him. And guess who will give him the most money. Thats right the freaken New England Patriots. All you Ronnie haters and think we should play Ricky more are out of your minds.

finally somebody with some sense. on the plays where they have ronnie and ricky in at the same time and ronnie lead blocks....wooooooooooo!! Ronnie just crushes whoever is in front of him. on the one play, i think they were in like a pro set ronnie was leadblocking thru the hole and i swear he looked like a guard pullin in the hole. we have to run those plays more often because the defense doesn't know whos gonna get the ball and they can both lead block there butts off. but to the OPs point, i dont know where the haters are but they can stay were there at.

Ronnie is a very good back, nobody on this board hates him but lets not go overboard because he runs all over one of the worst rushing defenses in the league. There are still quite a few backs better than him
