If Miami cannot trade down,considering all the top players available,there have to switch to a 4-3 defense,and draft Glenn Dorsey.I really like Chris(Long),but Dorsey is the best defensive player in the draft,and we cant take McFadden as the offensive choice(which if we chose offense it would be Mat Ryan hands down),so you take the easy road,change your defense,and take the best and safeiest player in the draft.Mel Kiper and Todd McShay say that Glenn Dorsey is the best DT to come in years,so too me,thats saying something...Long is getting some hype,but when the best DT in years fall on your lap,and is considered the best in the draft(defensively),you have to pull the trigger...its the safiest thing you can do,and then change your defensive scheme,our defense is a mess anyway,we need to start over....
someone posted the possibilities of not chosing someone with our first turn,and let St.Louis take the cap hit in drafting their player,and maybe even letting the next team by and decide who you want,because we will pay less money,and might end up with the guy we want....
HOWEVER
im not to fond of this scheme,if it works out wel great,but if we end up with the third pick and our choices are gone,we should be able to trade down from there,prolly towards the end the top 10 or somewhere in the teens,and a couple draft picks....its way ricky,but if nothing turns up with the trades of the first pick.....one thing is clear though,and we dont change into a 4-3,we pass on Dorsey,that much is certain.....
