I expected more out of him, or atleast something. I hear how he's improved but no impact even against a second team offense.

Its first preseason game... damn give him some time

Yeah, relax. Not every player can make a big play when they're only playing a couply drives. There's more than enough pre-season left for us to get a good look at every player.

Uh, on the field?

Roth is a 2-gap DE. He's not going to put up big flashy stats, and you've actually got to pay attention to see his contribution most of the time.

He actually looked good vs. the Jaguars, and consistantly drove his man back.

The season has not yet begun

Roth will be a bonafide force in the NFL this year. He obviously isn't going to start, but he will certainly win some accolades when he is on the field.:D

He was working with the kick off return teams as a blocker, and actually layed a tremendous block sometime in the late 3rd quarter. We could hear it in the stands.

ok just listen to yourself, i saw matt roth almost sack the quarterback a few times, everyone needs to lighten up its pre season roth knows he has a spot on the team and he was going up against their first team starting offensive line, give the guys a break its their first time in game atmosphere in 6 months

the only thing i am concerned about seeing is that our secondary sucked big time
they couldn't have stopped a middle school quarterback if they tried

I thought i saw him making a tuna fish sandwich.......on wheat bread......and he ate it with a fork......

He won't make an impact, he'll be ok, but not an impact player.

send some my way

He was throwing their second string tackles like rag dolls dude.

My friend send some my way to smoke because you must have some
fantastic medicinal product that causes eyesight as well as memory loss!!

I watched Roth on every play (trust me I want this guy to be awesome)
and he did NOT throw people around like ragdolls. His play was marginal to
say the least.

This was playing opposite second stringers and I was not impressed :refuse:

I know, first game and all the other "give him time crap" but lets hope he
can be as good as the hype that came with him.I for one will be watching him again aginst Tampa and hopefully he can begin to dominate like we all want to see.

Come on Matt...lets start to see something !!!
