Did anyone notice McMillan out there? Considering he is in the middle of the D, I don’t think I noticed him once. This team desperately needs a stud MLB. Hope he develops into something that resembles that.

He was in on some tackles, but it seemed like our Safeties were making all the plays.

He had 3 solo tackles and 3 assists. First ever NFL game. Cant expect Zach Thomas.

6 tackles also, He did nothing flashy but I'd love to hear some insight on how he did out there. Somebody said Chase Allen replaced him but I can not confirm that. I saw Allen on the field but figured he was subbing for Baker.

Zach knocked a guy out (Shawn Jefferson who's on our staff). It was a memorable start.

I was trying to follow him. He did okay. Hated the effort on the Titans TD plunge though...completely blocked out with little resistance.

True, but Fitzpatrick isn't coming back from a year off because of injuries. Plus, Fitzpatrick appears to be in a whole other league than, well, everyone.
McMillan wasn't great, but he wasn't bad either. I'm guessing (hoping) a combination of being out of football the most of a year plus getting acclimated to the game led to an average game. I do hope that adjustment doesn't take long, though.

Have to think there was alot of game planning on our part to stop the run. Taking on blocks so Fitz, TJ, and Jones can come clean up. They have alot of confidence in our 3 safeties making the plays.

To the OP it was his first pro game give him break. You should be asking where was Charles Harris?
How the hell did Fitzpatrick make it to us? He looked like an 8 year vet out there from play one. Imagine how good he could be if he reaches his potential. Haven’t seen a rookie look so fluently comfortable since Jake Long.
