The dolphins have had plenty of time to game plan using both Ricky and Ronnie. How many times did we have both on the field at the same time? Playing against a great defense or not I thought we were going to put both on the field to keep the defense off balance. I saw no creativity on offense using both of these guys.
 
hard to run when teams routinely put 8 guys in the box and tell your QB to beat you with the pass.
 
believe it or not they were on the same field a lot of the time. ronnie was WR A LOT. but it seemed whenever he was wr we ran the ball. so, it wasn't noticable.
 
Until gus can show the defense that he can make plays downfield, the running game will never open up.

maybe Saban was trying to adjust but it didn`t work
 
I'm not convinced that this tandem will work.

RBs need about 10 carries minimum before they get a good feel for the game. After that, their best producton usually comes. There needs to be an identity created for both of them in the offense. They need to clearly know what they will be called upon to do. Otherwise, it just looks like alot of subbing in and out with little production. I'm not sold on it yet.

Pretty disappointed myself, especially after watching Patrick Pass run all over the field on plays we should be running.

exactly.....for christ sakes....it was rickys first game back....he had FIVE carries?? did you think that he was going to come out and have 185 yards and three TD's agains the #1 Run D in the league?? especially with a QB that scares absolutely NO ONE about going deep?????:fire:
 
I was very disapointed. We should of flared them..fb left..rb right..for SIMPLE pass patterns. What I saw today was boring. If they cant figure out a way to use both properly..I want to trade for a qb in the draft with one.

I think its hard to implement the plays you want when your oline is drawing false start and holding penalties, putting you in long yardage situations all day long.
