Where were you???

On this day 35 years ago the Miami Dolphins beat the Chicago Bears 38-24, which ended up being their only loss of the 1985 season. Seems like yesterday to me. But as we all know that was a classic Monday Night Game if there ever was one.

In the cheap seats way up top 50 yard line. The place was electric

Watched it on TV with my 2 yr old daughter and 5 month old son. By the way, my son is still a huge Dolphins fan. My daughter not too interested, but would say Miami is her favorite. It was a great game. When the deflected pass went for a TD I started to believe it would be a memorable game.

I delivered a pizza to former Oriole/Dodger Catcher Rick Dempsey. I commented that he had the game on and how important it was for the Dolphins to win.

He invited me in for a few minutes and gave me an awesome tip. Caught the 4th quarter drinking with the dudes.

Flew down for the game as I always do twice a year. However I was young back then, sitting on the 45 yard line. That was about the greatest game I have ever attended along with the fake spike game in the ghettolands

I was home watching the game with my father and brother. I remember all the talk, leading up to the game. Especially at work, as I worked part time on Wall Street, while going to college. There were rumors of huge office bets within the firms. It was crazy. There was a lot of confidence amongst my friends, I worked with, who were Dolphins Fans.

I watched on a 17" crappy TV. My wife (now X) and I had 2 youngins, not a pot to **** in, nor window to throw it out of, but were both Dolphin fans, and loved every second.

I often think those were the best times of my life. Had nothing, but didn't care.
