Where Will Peyton Manning Play? Vegas thinks it's Arizona. VOTE!

Sadly I think AZ too! The real blame will fall on Ireland because just like everyone else he will stonewall Manning, over having a say in the offense and the type of players he wants on it. Ireland will once again escape blame meanwhile AZ gives him carte blanche.

The Bidwell family is not really known for signing big checks. They are more known for being cheap. That and the fact they are in the NFC gives the Dolphins a good chance.

that story is from yesterday! odds have changed dramatically! fins are +125 to land manning on sportsbook.com, followed by cards at +350 and chiefs at +550...The big bettors are laying it on miami today and have pushed them to almost even money

How dare our GM refuse to give a player full-control over personnel. I mean, the audacity of being one of 32 NFL teams who would actually do that.

Seriously, Manning hasn't even signed anywhere yet and we're already blaming Ireland for chasing him off...?

A bet on manning and where he will sign would be interesting but I dont think anything is close to clearcut now. I think it will come down to money and not sure we will have enough.

If Ross really wants Manning in Miami, he won't let money be an issue, that's for sure.

I voted "Other Team"

Fat Andy Reid will replace michael vick with manning hoping to win a championship.

- or -

Bill Belichick will sign him as Brady's back up.

Well there is no proof that statement is true because its not like he threw boatloads of money at other people he wanted to sign. Salary cap money is something that Ross's riches cannot really affect. When i speak of money Im saying other teams have more money to spend

Learn to read I said "a say"! That is a given both Dungy and Polian confirmed Manning had input in offensive personnel, scheme and play calling. Yeah how dare me? 10 straight 10 win seasons, Superbowl Champion, 2 time AFC Champion, 4 time MVP. Yeah it would be a ****ing terrible idea to let Manning do what he has been doing so well. But hey with a stellar record like Fuer Ireland has we are better off with him dictating the way!

Ummm, salaries can be restructured, players can be let go, etc etc. Again, if Ross really wants Manning on this team, he WILL find a way. It's not like we're in cap hell, man. No hell other teams may have more money to spend, but Miami has other advantages besides financially for Peyton. I strongly feel Peyton is going to be a Miami Dolphin soon. To me, I think we offer him the best situation. :idk:

Those teams with more money can restructure and le go also. Im just saying a team with a 20 somthing million cap advantage over us has an advantage in paying him.
We dont have alot of options to shed that much salary in reality unless we get rid of valuable guys. As for other advantages its all a matter of opinion.

With that logic, why not Favre? He has a couple of MVP's and a Super Bowl ring. How about bringing Marino back - he recently lost 22 lbs, I saw him on a commercial on TV, he looks like he is in playing shape.

You seem to forget that since Peyton accomplished all those things, he got older, missed an entire season and had 4 neck surgeries. Crazy thought, what if you sign him, let him have all the say and he can't play? Then you have wasted millions in cap space, and the team is in an even worse place then they are now.
